In case some people were wondering, There are some tracks in this version of FF1 that was specily made for the remake only. The NES (original) never had this track along with some others. Same goes for FF2.
@Fernito69 From what I remember, it was only put in on the ports. Otherwise, all enemies and bosses, including Chaos, was fought with the normal battle theme.
The first time I fought chronodia, it had lich and marilith on it, and I was like "Weird, but tough." Then I fought it again with all blue seals, and I was like "What the hell is that thing?"
Well, whoever has this on PSP must be feeling lucky; I have this on the GBA and there's only one difficulty, and it's HARD! I can't kill him, no matter how many times I try!
wierd the GBA game was easily the least hard FF I have played. Have you tried the temper/haste strategy with a monk? I hit chaos with 3k after two tempers and haste with each attack. My best team was ninja, whitewizard, monk, blackwizard.
@Kirbyluver2 Well, since I commented, I beat him. Doma was the only guy standing at the end - with 13 hp. I have 2 knights (Banon, Doma) a monk (Arvis) and a red mage (Tot).
This suits the Chaos fight down to the dot, It makes it seem like you are all that is left and you can do it because you just did everything else, but there is still that feint thought that this could be the annihilation of your entire party, but you still do your best and hope you win. I loved this fight the most cause of the music and the fact of knowing i almost won
In NES version of this game there was only one battle theme and it played in ALL OF THE BATTLES in the game. Normal creature and boss alike. Even in chaos.
Still, i like these added themes. Like this last battle theme.
Wrong. The original NES version had one battle theme for every single battle. Whether it was a common enemy, boss, or Chaos, you heard the same theme as when you fought the random encounters.
I know now. That was a long time ago. What I have is the Wonderswan edition. That one did have the extra battle themes. The original NES version did not. I was wrong back then. Sorry.
Aw, man! I want the battle themes in my version :(. Don't get me wrong, the original battle theme is awesome, but it gets annoying listening to it for EVERY single battle...
Well, I'm playing the original off of VC on the Wii. It's pretty challenging. I had to grind a little bit just survive in the first area of the game :O.
if u have to fight chaos in dissidia will there be a renewed ver of this?? would be awesome after the organs in the beginning it has a guitar play the rest :D
ya i gotcha i found that and i was like huh??? i mean that would have been cool if the actually used that as the title to thing song and all that to make it sound somewat like this but eh we let the japs do as they wish
this is the best theme in the game i believe :D

Sounds like this is a variation of the original battle theme. I can hear parts of it, or at least I think I am.
Oracion 2 years ago 2
It's probably a reference to how in the original version of the game, there was only one battle theme.
PaperMario15 2 years ago 2
Probably. Not really too surprising, but I like what they did with it.

Yeah and the original FF on the NES was no easy game to beat. The remakes have a lot more battle themes especially the GBA and PSP versions of I.
