  • Amazing QSL on 20m with such a small antenna! If I got it correctly this was in the evening before sunset so the path is to east over russia. Timing was probably essential to get a long skip to east. Any later and the band would be clogged with russian and european traffic. Sticking to the ITU phonetic alphabet might help in weak signal situations. At least I have sometime problems recognizing nonstandard phonetics. Of course, here the number was difficult.

  • Hello Nico, nice contact. I am using a very similar antenna for my mobile station. I think its called a multiranger from diamond? 80m-70cms i think, and i have worked a few VKs and JAs with it. I might have a go and build the stationary moble antenna that greg OH2FFY built, looks good.

  • First of all congratulations for your video. Please let me know: Did you use some kinf of a antenna tuner ? How was the SWR ? How did you adjust the SWR ?
