My friend worked the pile for the first 5 days after 9/11, including on the day (got there 20 minutes after 2nd of the Twin Towers fell). He's always told me #7 was very damaged on the south face and the whole day they were very afraid it would fall at any time. Nice to have another video of this. Unfortunately, it doesn't add anything new because it's shot from the Northwest and all the videos are shot from Northern angles. Given the 18-second seismic signal of the collapse, we know the building didn't collapse all at once. None of the videos show the Eastern or Southern sides, which apparently collapsed first.
In the real world, any collapse of building 7 would have been a partial collapse in the direction of the damaged area.
The worst case scenario for 1 and 2 would have been a partial collapse at the point of impact leaving the rest of the building standing.

Not only was it Larry Silverstein and not Mr. McQuillan who is credited with saying Pull it, Silverstein himself had absolutely no authority to order the supposed demolition of WTC 7. He has repeatedly stated that his pull it comment was meant to pull the firefighters out of the building as a precaution. Even then, its doubtful he would have had that authority considering the building posed a danger to other buildings near it if allowed to keep burning.
It turns out WTC 7's collapse wasn't as symmetrical as it might have seemed. The seismic signal of the collapse lasted 18 seconds, indicating that parts of the building started collapsing prior to the parts you see in the videos. This is reaffirmed by the fact that the Northern facade you see in the videos ended up sprawled across the top of the debris pile, having fallen last. Also, part of WTC 7 broke off and fell to the NE, seriously damaging the building at 30 W. Broadway.

The smoke coming out of the building is very random unlike a precise controlled demolition. As the building collapses, air condenses and forces it downward. Eventually the air needs to escape and blows out the windows. Controlled demolitions include a flash.

It would require them stripping down multiple floors to get to the perimeter columns because thats where the building collapsed and the hiding the large charges from workers. Sulfur is in Drywall (abundant in the trade centers), Iron is used in paint and electronics, potassium in concrete, manganese in steel, paint batteries and ceramics, Fluorine in the air conditioning system, Titanium in paper and paint. The two main products in thermate are Aluminum Oxide and Barium Nitrate. Both of which were never found.
@phlyegles43 Any chemistry teacher will tell you that you cannot get sulfur (the yellow stuff) from calcium sulfate (drywall) in a fire burning in air. Thus, the FEMA Appendix C results of Prof. Barnett are good evidence of thermate. Barium nitrate is NOT necessary for the thermite or thermate reaction.
May I also direct you the cutters they used during cleanup? There are multiple sources for the microspheres. Although it does not matter much because actual, credible experts have torn Jones paper to shreds. It really ridiculous how much he contradicts himself completely invalidating his other claims.

We know that oxyacetylene torches were used during the cleanup; as we can see in photos, there were large tanks of liquid oxygen in protective cages right on the debris pile. We ought to ask what microspheres those torches produce. We know they don't produce microspheres containing sulfur, but we need more work.

Second of all, there's no reason it should be symmetrical - look at all the buildings damaged by actual explosives, including OKC and before. They were asymmetrical. NO reason a part of this building shouldn't have remained standing even IF there was ever a reason for partial collapse (which in this case there wasn't). Besides, Silverman, the owner SAID that he made the decision to "pull" the building.
Even if building 7 burned long enough and hot enough to cause collapse, it still would never collapse in such a fast, clean, symmetrical fashion.
It would be a sloppy, tipping, toppling mess, likely occurring in stages over a long period of time and leaving portions of the building still standing.
It would never, EVER come down the way it did.

As I've already stated on this page, when a falling object hits another object, it's energy must be diverted. Go to your kitchen, get an Apple, go to the dining room table, and stand on a chair, and then drop the apple from above the table. Did the Apple go through the table? Or did it bounce? It bounced, and that's because a smaller falling object hitting a larger stationary object MUST DIVERT IT'S ENERGY. It doesn't matter how many times you drop the apple, it will always bounce.
Falling ojects always take the path of least resistance. In this scenario, the path of least resistance for the apple is to bounce and then continue it's downward journey, because that results in less resistance than trying to smash it's way through the table. In the case of the WTC, look at it this way: The apple is the Upper collapsing floors, and the Table is the remaining lower floors. The Upper floors can't smash throught the lower floors, just as the apple can't smash through the table.
As for your "path of least resistance", correct me if I'm wrong, but I take it your argument is that the upper floors, when collapsing onto the remaining floors, should and been stopped by them?
Well, first, the apple and the table comparison is completely inaccurate. The upper floors weren't collapsing onto all ~80 floors under them, they only collapsed on one at a time. One floor was easily crushed by the ~20 above it, the next floor was taken by those, and the rest quickly followed suit.
Well, there are lots of photos of buildings tipped over sideways, but they are either failed CDs or earthquake casualties, which of course is completely different. They're also a lot smaller than the Twin Towers were.
Taller skyscrapers are actually stronger than shorter ones, because of the magnitude of the wind load. Not only is the surface area greater, but the moment on the base is larger for a taller building. I don't know what that means for the Twin Towers, but hey. :)

@zenoist2 dumbass. lots of debri was exploded out of the building and the passport was with that debri. passport didnt need to travel through tower walls because they exploded outwards, then the passport came out afterwards. the speed the passport was travelling at made it impossible to burn because it was acting against air resistance. if you dropped a burning match of the tower, its flame would dissapear instantly.

My friend worked the pile for the first 5 days after 9/11, including on the day (got there 20 minutes after 2nd of the Twin Towers fell). He's always told me #7 was very damaged on the south face and the whole day they were very afraid it would fall at any time. They pulled everyone away from it eventually and he was maybe 6 or 8 blocks from it when it came down. He heard no demolition explosions at all and believes it came down due to damage caused by the North Tower debris.

Nice to have another video of this. Unfortunately, it doesn't add anything new because it's shot from the Northwest and all the videos are shot from Northern angles. Given the 18-second seismic signal of the collapse, we know the building didn't collapse all at once. None of the videos show the Eastern or Southern sides, which apparently collapsed first.

In the real world, any collapse of building 7 would have been a partial collapse in the direction of the damaged area.
The worst case scenario for 1 and 2 would have been a partial collapse at the point of impact leaving the rest of the building standing.
There is no way on God's green earth that they could have collapsed at near free-fall speed through the path of greatest resistance without the use of controlled demolition.
That would be *strictly impossible*.

Not only was it Larry Silverstein and not Mr. McQuillan who is credited with saying Pull it, Silverstein himself had absolutely no authority to order the supposed demolition of WTC 7. He has repeatedly stated that his pull it comment was meant to pull the firefighters out of the building as a precaution. Even then, its doubtful he would have had that authority considering the building posed a danger to other buildings near it if allowed to keep burning.

It turns out WTC 7's collapse wasn't as symmetrical as it might have seemed. The seismic signal of the collapse lasted 18 seconds, indicating that parts of the building started collapsing prior to the parts you see in the videos. This is reaffirmed by the fact that the Northern facade you see in the videos ended up sprawled across the top of the debris pile, having fallen last. Also, part of WTC 7 broke off and fell to the NE, seriously damaging the building at 30 W. Broadway.

The smoke coming out of the building is very random unlike a precise controlled demolition. As the building collapses, air condenses and forces it downward. Eventually the air needs to escape and blows out the windows. Controlled demolitions include a flash.

It would require them stripping down multiple floors to get to the perimeter columns because thats where the building collapsed and the hiding the large charges from workers. An implosion collapses the core and brings the building inward. Although the core was standing longer that the perimeter as seen in many videos.

Sulfur is in Drywall (abundant in the trade centers), Iron is used in paint and electronics, potassium in concrete, manganese in steel, paint batteries and ceramics, Fluorine in the air conditioning system, Titanium in paper and paint. The two main products in thermate are Aluminum Oxide and Barium Nitrate. Both of which were never found.

Thus, the FEMA Appendix C results of Prof. Barnett are good evidence of thermate. Barium nitrate is NOT necessary for the thermite or thermate reaction.

@exedron Thermate has never been used on vertical beam in demolition because it detonate chaotically and is not precise. It require a shape charge to cut through very small areas. Its like trying to use a pressure washer to wash your car. It would require truckload of thermite and a very large shaped charge. Not to mention that world trade center seven is much smaller than any building that has ever been controlled demoed. No ones sure they could even do it.

I think the motivation is political. They tend to be driven not by a rational or scientific line of reasoning but by an anti-Bush, anti-government agenda. They also tend to believe in all kinds of other tenuous conspiracies and so see the world through the distorted lens of conspiracy.

cobaltstraights is right. First of all, it's steel, so shouldn't go down from fire. Second of all, there's no reason it should be symmetrical - look at all the buildings damaged by actual explosives, including OKC and before. They were asymmetrical. NO reason a part of this building shouldn't have remained standing even IF there was ever a reason for partial collapse (which in this case there wasn't). Besides, Silverman, the owner SAID that he made the decision to "pull" the building.

Even if building 7 burned long enough and hot enough to cause collapse, it still would never collapse in such a fast, clean, symmetrical fashion.
It would be a sloppy, tipping, toppling mess, likely occurring in stages over a long period of time and leaving portions of the building still standing.
It would never, EVER come down the way it did.
You have to be in serious denial, or be lacking the most basic understanding of structural design, to not see that something is very wrong here.

More importantly, over half of the American people want a real investigation.
You don't need to be an engineer to see this was controlled demolition, just a little common sense and a basic understanding of physics, and you must be able to comprehend that kerosene can't melt steel.

Lol, yeah I've actually looked for those proofs... I've watched 911 Mysteries, Loose change etc... still the closest I've heard is someone saying "It sounded like explosions"... probably wont hold up in court, especially if the firemen saying it believes in the official truth.

What would be the reason to blow the building up? instead of smuggling in tonnes of nano-thermite into the building they could have just erased those files (or whatever the crumbled building was meant to hide). And just say "unfortunately it was all destroyed in the fire."
"They" control every instance of society anyway, so nobody could check if it was true or not... they seem to go to such unnecessary lenghts with everything... both planes and explosives, both fires and explosives...

I am not an expert in those areas, If this were a criminal trial, with construction aspects, I would not be required to provide a motive.
The fact is though, that ALL evidence points toward controlled demolition on all 3 buildings, and NONE points to collapse due to planes & fire.
This is the simple scientific fact.
We start here, THEN ask why. Not decide not because we do not understand why.
Understand this first. Understand physics.

There is no direct evidence of explosives, not one witness to what should have been hundred of man hours of work.
No plausible theory as to why it would be destroyed.

The EDITOR left. She is an expert on nanoexplosives. She could easily peer-review the paper and scientifically debunk it's science... but has not done so... why? Because it cannot be SCIENTIFICALLY done. The best she can do is to leave... but this does not change the SCIENCE involved.

This "mysterious" collapse is not so mysterious when you take into account all the evidence that most troofers seem to overlook. Terrorists who hijacked 4 planes, crashing 3 of them into buildings, 2 buildings which happened to indirectly affect this bldg, are responsible for the events of the day.

Um, have you done any research into 9/11? Or are you talking out of your ass? There's many videos from public news sources in which they report multiple "secondary explosions" on 9/11, videos of FDNY members talking about secondary explosions, and even about how much the collapses seemed like controlled demolitions. Then there are the scores of Architects and Engineers who are speaking out, saying 9/11 was an inside job. Do some research of your own, the news sure ain't gonna tell you the truth.

MANY things could be mistaken for "secondary explosions". This is terror on a scale your minuscule brains cannot begin to comprehend. Electronic transformers were could be exploding, cars were on far, debris was falling from 1/4 mile in the sky.
Also, looked like controlled demo? NO SHIT. A building can only fall one way: DOWN. Of course, CD collapses begin at the bottom, which the WTC collapse did NOT.

As I've already stated on this page, when a falling object hits another object, it's energy must be diverted. Go to your kitchen, get an Apple, go to the dining room table, and stand on a chair, and then drop the apple from above the table. Did the Apple go through the table? Or did it bounce? It bounced, and that's because a smaller falling object hitting a larger stationary object MUST DIVERT IT'S ENERGY. It doesn't matter how many times you drop the apple, it will always bounce.

Falling ojects always take the path of least resistance. In this scenario, the path of least resistance for the apple is to bounce and then continue it's downward journey, because that results in less resistance than trying to smash it's way through the table. In the case of the WTC, look at it this way: The apple is the Upper collapsing floors, and the Table is the remaining lower floors. The Upper floors can't smash throught the lower floors, just as the apple can't smash through the table.

As for your "path of least resistance", correct me if I'm wrong, but I take it your argument is that the upper floors, when collapsing onto the remaining floors, should and been stopped by them?
Well, first, the apple and the table comparison is completely inaccurate. The upper floors weren't collapsing onto all ~80 floors under them, they only collapsed on one at a time. One floor was easily crushed by the ~20 above it, the next floor was taken by those, and the rest quickly followed suit.

Well, there are lots of photos of buildings tipped over sideways, but they are either failed CDs or earthquake casualties, which of course is completely different. They're also a lot smaller than the Twin Towers were.
Taller skyscrapers are actually stronger than shorter ones, because of the magnitude of the wind load. Not only is the surface area greater, but the moment on the base is larger for a taller building. I don't know what that means for the Twin Towers, but hey. :)
