I got the fender eliminator, new grips, frame sliders, shorty levers, gp exhaust and swapped out the front parking lights with green lights and also put green under lights on mine. Awesome vid though I wouldn't mind getting a go pro sometime in the near future.

@gogokidd Couldn't be further from correct with that statement. Honda quailty is garbage. Its why I got rid of my CBR along with everyone I rode with. Honda and Yamaha are last in just about everything in the 600 class and have been since 2009.

All 600s are pretty close in hp stock. There's like a 5-7hp difference between them all. And they are all pretty light with the newer models.

I dont think so...I ride the same thing stock and it doesnt come close to 183...Ive had it tapped out and the best I got was 171 with the wind at my back...Still plenty fast but sorry for that kinda top speed you would need new maps, exhaust, and prob. be bored out at the very least...But I will have to say love that go pro Im looking to get one myself
@williamwatson131 I appreciate the comment but you are wrong. The bike was only a couple weeks old and stock in this video. I topped out 3rd gear. The bike can do 272-280 with 6th topped out.
@dddude55 oh thats funny cuz 183 mph is 294.5 kph...and 272-280 kph is 169.02 - 173.99 mph....So how am I wrong when you cant convert your own measurments?? either way you might wanna take a run on a dyno and maybe learn what you got before you start spouting off numbers like a pro...cuz for one Im not but Im in school to learn this shit...

I don't understand why you are even mentioning 183mph because it has nothing to do with the video at all and I never said anything about any speeds that high.
None of the things you listed in your first comment will affect top speed. Gearing is the only thing that will affect top speed.
@dddude55 Your right in saying its gearing to finalize top speed, all the stuff he mentioned as far boring out and all that only allows you to get to top speed faster is all. I have to say love your bike and color got one same year and color love my bike, just upgraded exhaust to jardine gp1 and only thing I will change besides that is the tail to a flush mount type. The GoPro is actually pretty clean might have to get one, want a camera of some sort though. Great Vid.

@CRTAUS There is no gauge on the zx6r. There is a light that will come on letting you know you need gas. My bike usually goes 200kms before the fuel light comes on. When I fill up I put 12.5 liters in. That means there is about 4 and a half, I believe its a 17L tank.
@dddude55 there is no light for fuel...it will be writen on digital display. Light is a shift clue!!!
I go arround the same distance with my before fuell pops up on display 180-200km. Two bross exhaust all the rest original. Beastly machine love evey second on it.
@atlantik385 o_O not sure what year yours is, but there is a fuel light. The shift light is a little led top left of the gauge cluster. The fuel light is to the left of the neutral light and is the same size, it lights up orange. You are right that the screen will also flash the word fuel. You can cancel that in order to see mileages still and the fuel light will stay lit ;P
@frostyj714 I bought mine at Bestbuy up here in Canada for ~300. The contour HD 1080P just dropped in price down to $140. I like the gopro better because it has a wider lense and, in my opinion, better color saturation.
@GreaseMonkey250 The R6 hasn't been updated in a few years. I love my zx6r. The 09+ are lighter and have more midrange power than the previous models. The zx6r is the most powerfull 600 out atm. But to be honest without mods they all perform about the same.
From what I understand about the R6s is all their power is topend, So you have to rev the crap out of them to enjoy them.

a GSXR 750 does 176mph.
A GSXR1000 and other 1000s 186-189mph.

The quality of the honda and the reliability is by far the best in its class but the kawi is a great buy for your money imo

All 600s are pretty close in hp stock. There's like a 5-7hp difference between them all. And they are all pretty light with the newer models.

I havn't actually hit top speed yet. I have barely maxed 4th gear. It's the most powerful 600 there is and it's plenty fast ^_^
