very nice....can you tell me how are you animating the hands. are you using the finger solve? i found that kind of difficult to control and ended up putting set driven keys on the fk skeleton which works but seems kind of wrong maybe...
what do you think is best for hand animation controls?
NewB here... And that was really nice... I have my first school project in a month and I just hope the animation will come out half as fluid as this looks... using FBIK too
but i do have a question, did u use the FBIK built in maya to fully rig this character ? or u just custom rigged it like,rigging all the parts and creating the FK/IK handles and so on ?
coz am having difficulties using the FBIK in maya dunno if its orientation of the joints or,...
thanks for your reply kohta,i was building a custom rig and almost done with it now,just need to finish up the torque bug that happen when i rotate the back control,anyway,.... i tried a couple of times to setup my own human rig and just add the FBIK to it,but i got kinda bored and i really need to just head streight into animating it,so am currently using the maya sample rig,its not bad but still need to be fixed alittle and add some keys to it,like adjusting the fist and stuff like that.

@chilefex Hi. I think the best way of hand animation is maya FBIK.
I`m using maya FBIK.

i just used only FBIK that built in maya for this animation.
first time, i had many problems in FBIK, but i can make animation easily like this ,right now.
