  • i like it but at least i have gotten laid bitch

  • @Yokosrifle1234567890

And for that I salute you. Say hello to my kids for me.

  • Seinfeld stuff :D

  • nice :D

  • nice playing, but a wet fart tone is no good

  • @zenburger

Thank you for your kind words.

  • i like your videos, great bass playing technique

  • @iadans Is this a pure active bass?

  • Is that a Peavey?

  • @j4kk4j

If by Peavey, you mean Fender, then yes ;) It's an American Deluxe P-Bass.

  • That bass has an amazing tone.

  • Nice! I've never met anyone else that calls it dead notes, everyone I know calls it ghost notes.

I'm looking into buying that bass. Can you get a smooth "Jaco" tone from it as well?

  • sick futon brah

  • Watched a couple of these videos...playing's pretty good in general, nice riffs, good slap, etc. Recording quality is not so hot, but what you're recording is good. What I would love to see you do is record something that focuses on just the bridge pup and on both pups blended that gives me a chance to hear those. I'm trying to decide whether to retrofit a P-Bass with one of the JJ humbuckers like you've got, or a musicman humbucker, so I'd like to hear what your bridge pup sounds like. Thanks!

  • Right hand's floppy as a fish, but it sounds alright so who cares! ;)

  • Great playing, but that vein on your right arm creeps me out

  • a dead not is a muted note basically, correct?

  • @boibad12

Effectively yes, but its done through the left hand on the fretboard (assuming you are right handed) rather than using your palm on the bridge so it effectively removes most tone and leaves it as a mostly percussive sound

  • i like the way your right hand moves. can really see the flow

  • yeah! its wavy

  • Nice playing man. nice to see you put some of your own flavor to it. A lot of movement..if you tried to work on your economy of motion it might help ya a little. i was the exact same way..not trying to cut ya down. keep up the good playing. dont listen to the shitty comments..they usually come from ppl that wanna be that good but can't pull off smoke on the water lol solid dude! 8/10

  • Nice!

  • how do you kill a note?(or play a dead a note is what i'm saying)

  • with your left hand lightly lay your index finger and middle finger across the fretboard (both to prevent harmonics) and then slap, pluck, strum, or whatever.

  • LOL.

This comment made my day. :D

  • good.. im stealing it! haha.. good work dude

  • hey, the bass is normal size or its a little smaller? sorry my english

  • no problem! The bass is normal sized, 22 frets, some have 24 frets so they might appear larger. I also have fairly long fingers and am kinda tall so that might make it appear a little smaller.

  • its still really good, better than me
