  • Advertisement for Obama official website?

  • The best part was music..

  • @mimartin2344, I can assure you that even though some of Dr. Piazzas' special offers came with the stipulation that they could not be sold by way of advertising, the membership and certificate I have offered for sale did not come with that stipulation. Thank you for your concern in this matter, and thank you for your support of Front Sight; it is a remarkable experience.

  • A few lawsuits because the owner made some promises to investors. Overall a good class to learn basic firearms skills and work your way up to more advanced courses. Many people sell the memberships at huge discounts.

  • I do not under stand why my posts which offer a membership for sale continue to get marked as spam. Would the person responsible let me know whats up...that is if you have enough balls to explain yourself in a public forum.

  • @MrFirefytnman Maybe because you bought it with the agreement never to advertise?

  • @frenchbob50, the instruction is excellent. Students learn from the essentials on through mastery of their firearm. Each student is also tasked to be an assistant instructor with their respective shooting partner so everybody stays busy learning by doing and learning by teaching. The range instructors not only instruct step by step but also observe and offer one on one time to assist students. I am also one who does not enjoy crowds but to tell you the truth, I felt more like a part of a family.

  • The facility looks really impressive, however, it looks a little like a 'chocolate factory' to me. How many guys on the point at a time? 20, 30? Student instructor ratio? I like what the 'doctor' is doing and his views on citezen ownerships of firearms etc but the place seems to me to be just too big; I don't like crowds!

    Regards

  • We need a range here in Tennessee so that we can brush up and keep in good standing ,

Do forsee one here in the future?

  • Great there needs to be arange here in Tennessee so that we cab=n get together and freshen up pur skillds. Do you see that happenin =g soon?

  • Been there, done that, can't wait to return. I'm ex-Navy ship security team, get private instruction a couple times a year for tune up, go to the range two to three times a month. I attended a 4 day defensive handgun mainly to improve my wife's proficiency. I was on the range next to a lady that had never held a handgun before. While correcting the gross issues she had, the instructor still corrected some of my bad habits. Nothing gets past these guys. Better than all my Navy training.

  • Have some friends who took a Front Sight course a few months ago. They spoke very highly of it.

For indoor range assistance check Range Development Services DOT com

  • How much does this training cost?

  • @defritzel At retail the 4-day courses are $2000.00 and the 2-days are $1000.00. I've been to three of the classes with my Diamond membership. I have an extra Diamond membership for sale if your interested, e-mail me at ron_keeton@msn.com with Front Sight in the subject and I'll get back with you with more details. Thanks

  • THIS VIDEO IS WHAT FRONT SIGHT IS ABOUT!!! WE WERE SURPRISED TO ACTUALLY SEE OURSELVES IN THE VIDEO.

  • It is bullshit, though, that they won't let you attend their courses unless you have "no criminal history" Everyone make a little mistake once in their lives. And we aren't even talking felony here. (where you can't even own guns in the first place) But I'm talking a little misdemenor in somebody's past who never committed another crime and is still a resposible gun owner just wanting to improve their skills.

  • @tetonskier1 What was the little crime and how many tyears ago?

  • I upgraded to Diamond and 've got a Legacy Lifetime Membership for sale. $1250. Rickaldine@comcast.net

  • I had a great time at my 4 day defensive pistol class and can't wait to return.

  • Worth the time and money to attend - have been there many times and have taken basic to advanced courses. I also had extensive training from several training facilities across the USA and based on my experiences - Front Sight is very good at what they do.

  • Not only is this piece outstanding, it is stimulating! Great work Dr. Piazza!

    Marine Chaps

  • My wife and teenage son attended during Spring of 2011. They were impressed, and they both came back knowing much more than I do. So now I have to go! Hopefully Spring 2012.

  • I was lucky enough to be at Front Sight when this video was shot (and appear in the video). My regular shooting buddy and I were there to introduce my best friend / brother-in-law to his first 4 day defensive handgun class. I can attest that the quality of training at Front Sight is second to none. The instructors are professional and friendly and the facility is top notch. Thank you Dr. Piazza for your commitment to The Second Amendment and to bringing "comfort of arms" to so many Americans!

  • Put a front sight on the east coast damnit!

  • @pickchicken

    LOL! Total agreement!

  • Do they accepet shooters from kuwait?!

    :-)

  • My uncle is taking me over spring break. I can't fucking wait!!!!!!

  • It gave me goosebumps. A must view for the likes of Schumer, Clinton, Reid, ad nausuem. Yes, Virginia, America is arming itself.

  • @lefttodieable not to mention pelosi and most of the politicians in this country.

  • I have to add to all the glowing reports of those that have attended courses at FS. I attended the 4-day basic handgun with my wife, son and daughter; and the 4-day shotgun course with my son. Everyone came away with a high degree of confidence and proficiency. And we all had a blast. My wife called it one of the best family vacations we've ever - and that's saying something. The facilities are great and the instructors even better. You get lots of personal, professional attention

  • Luv this video, Richard please tell me you also attended a class. You wouldn't want to miss an opportunity like this. My wife and I attended the 4 day defensive handgun course last March. Made believers out of us. Can't wait till we can come back.

  • Hi All, the Helicopter is 7.5 lbs helicopter...with a $900 Sony Camera hanging on the front. Pretty Wild stuff since the rotor blades took a lot of damage from flying debri...powder...and lead slag. The lowest shots are in the Front Sight Aerial Tour Video which is also on You Tube. At the lowest point...the bullets were going about 12-15 inches under the helicopter. Those clips are on the Front Sight Aerial Tour Video.

    - Richard Carlton

  • @countrysamurai I was in that same exact class. The girls in that class were very impressive to watch handling their firearms.

  • This place is awsome, I attended a 4 day defensive hand gun class last summer and I have to hand it to all the instructors at Front Sight. They take the time to really teach the techniques and dynamics of shooting. I do recomend this place to all I encounter and I will definately be back cause I have a lifetime to do it. Sign up for a class today, you will not be sorry.

  • Wow, high volume classes.

  • I’ve been to Front Sight once for a 4 day defensive handgun course and I definitely recommend it. I learned a great deal and plan to return this year for two more classes.

  • I have friends who are currently working in law enforcement (sworn personnel) who have taken the 4 day handgun course and they have all said what a tremendous learning experience it was! How can you go wrong?

  • This is the best firearms training I have ever attended. The instructors and training are superb. Safety is the highest priority. I recently upgraded memberships for myself and my family and I have some memberships for sale.

  • Because of an upgrade in my current membership, I have a Front Sight lifetime membership for sale. This membership is for unlimited two and four day defensive handgun and two and four day practical rifle courses. I also have a certificate for a midweek four day defensive handgun course. Get a hold of me for more info.

  • amazing video. how did you guys film the fly bys?

  • @nickyslaw I had the same thought. My bet was they had some trusted shooters, probably instructors, do the shooting when the camera went by. I doubt they trusted students to do that!

  • @eromusofwom

    Hi There;

You have it all wrong. I took a 4 day course 2 years ago. It is all that you see. There were 50 men and women in my course. I don't know how many course were taught that weekend but I do know that they had a hand gun course which I attended. The other course taught that weekend were shot gun, rifle, hand to hand, ozzie, and knife defense. I would strongly suggest you take a course.

Take a course and you will be glad you did.

    R Catenacci

  • @nickyslaw At 2:40 in the vid...the guy shooting behind the blue drum and the young woman in the pink camo cap immediately following...I was in that class...

2 day Advanced Tactical Handgun....they have a small R/C Helicopter that flies around the property and films. It has a very tiny camera on it...as you can see, it takes great pics!

They are the real deal and all the shooting is done by students.

It is an amazing experience...I am a Life Member and have done 18 courses.

    With more to follow!

  • @countrysamurai That's pretty awesome. My brothers and I actually have reservations to take lessons at front Sight, but we just gotta find time when all of us can go. Hopefully soon!

  • @nickyslaw RC Helicopter, you can see the shadow at 0:28

  • @nickyslaw toy helicopters...

  • I'll take one if you still have one left

  • I only have 3 left (out of 16) they are the "Liberty Tree" membership which is good for:

2 and 4 day defensive handgun any time,

2 day practical rifle any time, and

2 day tactical shotgun any time.

This membership is for life, so you can attend any of these courses as many times as you want! Each of these courses costs $1000.+ but this membership only costs $300/each. Front Sight sent out an email saying that they are not selling first family memberships anymore, so get them b4 they're gone

  • @barborkaag definitely interested in finding out more details. Thanks.

  • I can't wait to go to class after seeing the video. Going to take a week vacation and do this!

  • My temporary helper is asking me why I would want to go to a place like this. WHAT! A PLACE LIKE THIS! I know that I am not alone in wishing and dreaming for years, that something like this would happen. That someone with brains, ability, desire, and the capital, or the ability to raise the capital and promote something like this, FOR THE PUBLIC. We had'em for the Military and the pros, but not the public. Thank you Dr. Piazza and may God bless you and your wonderful endeavor.

  • 3yrs ago I nearly died as a nearly direct result of Gov't medical care. I lost 65lbs in 3 weeks (looked like an Auschwitz escapee) received a broken back in so-called therapy, and ended up in a wheelchair and on oxygen. I will be 70 in may but I am coming back stronger every day because I still have things I want to do. Besides the obvious with family, grandkids, etc., after getting back on a good horse, visiting Front Sight is a prime goal. "You can't die with a good yearling in the pasture"

  • Great capture of the Front Sight environment. This is a true picture of what it's about. I have been there twice (2010 & 2011) and it is a great fun and superb learning experience.

  • Awsome! This place is so great!

  • Awsome! This place is so great!

  • Awsome! This place is so great!

  • That was great. We have taken our first 360 Tactical course here in Houston and are looking forward to carrying on with further training.

  • I just attended a 4 day Defensive Handgun course at FS and it was the best four days of firearms training I have ever had including Military and LE, as well as armed escort and PP detail training. Don't wait, GO and get trained better than you ever imagined.

  • Special thanks to the classes and folks that helped us shoot the video. Classes included: Practical Rifle, Tactical Shotgun, Defensive Handgun, Handgun Skill builder, Advanced Tactical Hand Gun, and Tactical Scenarios classes. Thanks to Kris Wilson for his laser fast five count presentation, and Herb Miller & Mindy for their awesome shooting in the advanced tactics. Nov and Dec 2011. - Richard Carlton

  • I picked up a defensive handgun membership for a good deal some months back. I'm hoping to be able to attend a course this summer. I really think it will help my skills and confidence.

  • @bigtank1982 Have done the 4 day defensive handgun (4DDH) twice now with my wife-she suggested a trip to FS for our 25th anniv. Couldn't recommend a better group to train with!

  • I attended the Practical Rifle course in Jan 2009. Over the course of four days I was pushed mentally and physically during 10 to 12 hour days to become far better in the legal use of my chosen firearm that would ever be possible with concealed handgun training classes. The instructors' passion, personal experiences and wide ranging grasp of the legal, societal, moral and technical constraints surrounding the defensive use of deadly force was focused, serious and relevant. I will be returning.

  • Nice! I saw a couple of my instructors in that compilation.

  • @grampsmoline that is nice to hear.

  • LOVE seeing my Fellow Countrymen and Women being trained. "Behind ever blade of grass......."

    Thumbs up!

  • Looks over crowded and impersonal

  • @alfieber Not over crowded at all. I took 4 day defensive handgun course last month. What you see is students learning to coach others along with instructors and line coaches. We had about a 1 instructor to 4 shooting student ratio. Very personal, very professional.

  • @alfieber Not at all. I attended a course in 2002 and will be going back this year. FrontSight has a very strict instructor to student ratio. Believe me if you will go you will have instructor that will prefect your abilities far beyond what you can imagine. No errors will go unoticed or uncorrected. You will be the best you can be when you leave. FrontSight promises that or your money back. Find another school with that promise......

  • @alfieber Not at all! I have been to 7 or 8 classes at Front Sight and you get all the individualized training you need. There are 2 "shifts" in each class and most of the classes run 35-40 students (generally with 4-5 instructors). No more than half the class is shooting at any given time and the instructors are johnny-on-the-spot in giving personal instruction. If you get the chance just take one 2-day class. As former Airborne I can tell you that the classes are definitely high-grade!

  • I went to FrontSight twice, years ago (2000 I think) and the training was really excellent. I was a little put off by the housing pitch (don't know if that plan exists anymore) and there was a sort of heavy marketing feel, but the training was so stellar that any personal distaste was a tertiary consideration. I have no doubt the facilities have only gotten better.

  • I went to Front Sight last year with my uncle. I can honestly say that it is a great experience. The classes are so in depth that you will not be able to leave there without becoming skilled or more skilled with your weapon. I plan to be coming back this June or July with my Diamond Membership. Great Video, Front Sight. I can't wait to see you all again!
