I don't understand why people have a problem with the "there's no such thing as God" part. Firstly, I'm sure they didn't write the song themselves, so it may not necessarily be their personal opinion. Secondly, why does not believe in a god automatically make you a bad person? You can be a good person with a great heart and not believe in God (I know several people like this).

I think out of the whole soundtrack for PGSM, Sakura Fubuki is my fave ^_^

It's a song Rei did during the episode where she tries to convince Minako that throwing away the present for the sake of the past is a bad thing. She invents the Mars Reiko (Bad name IMO) persona to ignite Minako's Competetive spark. This is the song she sings to a group of kids as Mars Reiko. Ami originally had no part in it.

They paired the two because of their complementary vocal styles, I think.

That is not quite correct, Ucchan. "Mars Reiko" was meant to be a bad name.

Minako created the name "Mars Reiko" in episode 23 as a punishment for Rei interrupting her at the hospital and being slow at awakening her powers. Rei's glare at Minako's back is a good indication that she doesn't appreciate it either.

One of the reasons they paired the singers is probably because it increases the stage time for each cast member (excluding the two group songs, each Sailor sings twice).

If they had restricted it to them singing only their character songs, Minako would sing three times, Rei & Usagi would each sing once and Ami & Makoto would not sing at all except for Kirari Sailor Dream.

No lip-synching. Microphone echoes aside, it takes a trained linguistic ear, as well as an intimate familiarity with the Japanese language to tell, but they are actually singing. When Hama (Ami) messes up, Kitagawa (Rei) covers her, and vice-versa. It works well, because their voices are nearly identical. Only their consonant pronunciation gives away who is who. The variation in pitch is so slight as to be nearly unnoticeable.

at 00:32 is one of them where Keiko-san doesn't cover for her. At the start of her line, she closes her mouth on the end of the word, Eien, which mucks the transition up slightly. A consonant-final 'n' is always nasal right before a consonant such as 'g', 'k', 'd', 't', or others where the mouth does not close to pronounce the consonant.

Sort of, but when pronouncing the sound, hold the tip of your finger on the septum of your nose. Most of the vibration from the correctly made sound should reverberate through your nose.

For the correct sound of the consonant final "n" in Japanese, the sides of your tongue should touch your top teeth, stopping short of your canines (fangs). The tip of your tongue should be touching absolutely NOTHING. Then, simply vibrate your vocal cords, and the sound should come out accurately.

Yes it is, but when speaking a consonant such as 'b', 'p', etc...the sound tends to be confused with a consonant-final 'm', which does not actually exist in Japanese. It is a confusion stemming from people who transliterate phonetically instead of based on the characters, thus leading to words like -senpai and Kanpai! being misspelled as -sempai and Kampai!. Small things, but anyone who learns Japanese in a classroom would learn the difference in a week or so.

All performers lip synch onstage unless they are staying still. You can always tell if they are or not because no one can jump around incessantly and not get out of breath. If you can't tell they are getting winded while they sing then that is definetly an indicator. Not that it is a bad thing or anything, no one wants to hear people gasping for air as they sing.

Hey, it's true. You can easily tell. Not trying to say that this is bad, I'm just pointing out the fact. It's a nice song though. I bet they're playing a recorded version of them singing it so that they don't have to sing and dance which isn't that hard, I've been in multiple shows that required dancing and singing. Anywho, I didn't have that many steps to remember so, yeah.
