Actually it is very possible for a person to jump over a car. Keep in mind the Ashton is very low to the ground and is traveling fast, Kobe is not jumping over the car, but rather the car riding under a vertical leap, it's like a child ridding a big wheel at you and you jump up and the child continues on, let's not be critical Kobe is a Beast don't discredit this awesome film. Watch the video carefully. The path of the car is a curve (slow it down, you can see the front wheels turned to the right slightly), Kobe is stationary, the car simply drives around him. That is why the shadows work (even with his shadow before and after, to his right during). The curve of the camera lens helps trick your eyes. It's not 'fake', he's just not actually jumping over a car. The guy's worth millions to his agent, NIKE and the NBA, so of course they aren't going to let him jump a car.
