I'm thinking about moving on Rome after securing Iberia. Not to sound like a wimp, but I really don't want to deal with the Post-Marian legions on hard difficulty. They are more than bad enough on normal difficulty and they just get spammed like crazy. I'll likely go after Carthage once I've taken Rome out, but this is all just speculation at this point. I'll have to see what happens as I go along. I'm a bit ahead of what I've posted, but not very far.
