Private schools... yeah right. So education should not be available to everyone by that analogy. The problem is content that is learned in public schools, and that it is extremely easy. For example, I had to know to point to any country on the map when asked, and that was in 5th grade elementary, when I was 12. Not in the US of course ;-)

History hasn't been "replaced" at all. It's still taught, they just added social studies because the kids leaving high school weren't taught about Economics or Governmentals.
Your right I went to a all black high school and saw how blacks couldn't read or write at 18. There is even white kids for any reason who can't finish school. I surely didn't get a great education in high-school, luckily I had a good catholic grade-school education and a teacher for a mother. We need a excess of jobs, to be readily available because some people don't work. They should be able to move into something else quickly if they get fired or laid off. They become lazy on unemployment!!!
