  • I've always wanted a russian Blu rat.So pretty

  • @samirijojo Actually I found out she's not russian Blue, she's just "Blue" (sometimes referred to as American Blue or British Blue). I think all the blues are very pretty. :) Then again, I think all rats are! lol

  • nice i hace a blue a hairless dumbo and a fancy rat

  • @GZReptiles cool :)

  • love ur rat!!

and hey i have a fancy rat called Saphire too (but i spell mine with one p)

and i even made mazes for her and her sister Pinky a few times but mine where out of ancient videos lol!

  • @MsPixilate Hehe awesome. :)

  • sweet video i might want to try building mazes for them like that too.

  • @Darkdestroyer23 The older rats were a bit worried about the legos when I first introduced them to them. I made some mazes with wooden blocks (with the help of my nephews and nieces) for Diamond one day--the kids kept changing the design. She had a blast! I had a hard time holding on to her while they changed it, she was so eager to go again. :D

  • Lovely video! :D

(she's a British Blue by the way - not Russian Blue Agouti ;)) She's gorgeous! Looks like she's having so much fun!

    xx

  • @zoundzy Yes found out at AFRMA she's "blue" (American or British, same gene). A very good Blue for the american standards. :)

  • I feel so sorry for all the other rats out there not living in this luxury =[ This rat has it made.

  • that cage is way to small for that rat thats more like a travel rat cage

  • Huh--I never thought anyone would think that's where I make them live...there's no food or water either. That's just the carrier cage. It's only ever closed for things like car trips. I always have it available out in the open when they're out though, because they'll go to it when they need to go potty. They also like to play in and out of it (as you see Sapphire doing here) because it's comfortable and safe.

  • There's a glimpse of another cage at the end--that's the cage she and Amethyst lived in at the time. Supposedly it's large enough for two rats but it feels small to me so I generally just use it for travel as it is collapsable. It was fine though for these two while they were still so small--one of my other two rats wasn't ready to accept them yet so I had to keep them in separate cages till they all got used to each other.

Thanks for your concern though. ;)

  • good i was just conserned im getting a massive one next week lol

  • i get the cat toy balls with the little bells for my rats too. i used to have one that loved to roll them down the ramps of the cage. your rats are so adorable. i also love that lego maze thing you have set up for them to play in. that's an awesome idea.

  • Thanks! I'm actually disappointed with how little they play with the cat toy balls. lol Although they will occasionally stash them, at least. :D

And, yah, I got the duplo legos with the intent of making mazes for them, but so far it's mostly a tunnel and playground. :D
