pit bulls are amazing dogs and a high majority of them have no problems with other dogs at all. It all depends on how they were raised, just like with all other breeds. A chihuahua will be vicious towards other dogs if the owner raises it that way.

This is just one more slap in the face to all the people out there working hard to change all of the negative publicity about several breeds of dogs (Pit Bull are at the top of that list). These dogs are not any more aggressive than any other dog. It's their owners that seem to be more aggressive. ANY creature will respond negatively to cruel treatment.....even a person. I'm sick of people condemning these dogs based on something they think is true. We as people are worse than any dog.

Pit Bulls and Rotties are not horrible attack dogs! My uncle bred and raised Rotties for years and he trained them to be lovable guard dogs for families in his town so they could feel safe at night and have a big dog to protect them from bears! And the Pit Bull breed retains a high prey drive, just like terriers. They can certainly be socialized & raised to live in a multi-animal home, and I never said otherwise, so calm the fuck down.

Burger King just lost MY business from this day on! I have hundreds of FB friends that are feeling the same way. No great loss to not eat there anyway; it's all FAT food junk. Me and my miniature Shinauzer have been attacked by a pit-bull last December. I have to fight the dog to take my babe from its mouth.

pit bulls are amazing dogs and a high majority of them have no problems with other dogs at all. It all depends on how they were raised, just like with all other breeds. A chihuahua will be vicious towards other dogs if the owner raises it that way.

This is just one more slap in the face to all the people out there working hard to change all of the negative publicity about several breeds of dogs (Pit Bull are at the top of that list). These dogs are not any more aggressive than any other dog. It's their owners that seem to be more aggressive. ANY creature will respond negatively to cruel treatment.....even a person. Pit Bulls and Rotties are not horrible attack dogs! My uncle bred and raised Rotties for years and he trained them to be lovable guard dogs for families in his town so they could feel safe at night and have a big dog to protect them from bears! None of his turned out mean or attacked anyone for no reason. It just shows that the person raising the dog is to blame for what they do, not the dog's breed! D:<

Pit Bulls were bred for bull baiting and later on, dog fighting. I have nothing against them, or any other breed for that matter, but it IS in their nature to have aggressive tendencies toward other dogs & animals (NOT people). You can't deny the origins from which this breed has derived. They make great pets, but require FIRM leadership & lots of socialization, no different from many breeds. Don't pass judgment b4 meeting a properly cared for pittie, but don't deny their history, either.

@sunmums It is what they were originally BRED for. Bulldogs were crossed with terriers to make the pit bull terrier, and what are terriers known for? Their high prey drive. It's in their genes. And the Pit Bull breed retains a high prey drive, just like terriers. They can certainly be socialized & raised to live in a multi-animal home, and I never said otherwise, so calm the fuck down.

Pits make GREAT family pets when treated properly. They are not an inherently aggressive dog. More people get bit by small dogs each year. Blame the people, NOT the breed. Educate yourself before stereotyping.

Most people don't realize home owner's insurance will NOT cover you if you own a dangerous dog like a pit bull or rottie, or you must put out a HUGE policy because these dogs are responsible for a lot of law suits which lawyers go after the home owner's insurance. Burger King just lost MY business from this day on! I have hundreds of FB friends that are feeling the same way. No great loss to not eat there anyway; it's all FAT food junk. As usual, Burger King completely FAILS with their commercials.
I like BK food. But every time I see ANY of their commercials, I lose my appetite. And if I show up and they have that hideous "King" mascot plastered on the windows, I leave. Its just obnoxious and unappealing.

Me and my miniature Shinauzer have been attacked by a pit-bull last December. I have to fight the dog to take my babe from its mouth.
No matter what anybody say, the breed should be eliminated. They are aggressive towards other dogs no matter how they have been raised. They will snap at any moment and kill another dog. I know the are great with people and I have seen good Pit-bulls. I never eat Burger Kink anyways

No, I'm not a bitter person: you mistake bitterness for intense frustration at the fact that there are people as BRAIN DEAD as you when it comes to dogs. I'm frustrated that someone could say "I'm a dog lover" and then seconds later, Herr HImmler, wants to millions of dogs in this world into a gas chamber or worse. HYPOCRITE!

@tganani . I completely agree with you. This obsession people have about Pit Bulls and other dogs being aggressive is ridiculous. They would feel differently if it was their dog that was being banned. People are to blame much more than any breed of dog. People are the ones instilling this temperament and forcing these dogs to act that way. If they don't then they are tortured or killed for not being worth anything more to these people using them for fighting.

OK, in addition to being one of the dumbest commercials I have seen in a long time ... why have the dogs in there at all? It added nothing to the commercial, and certainly didn't make me want to run out and get BK. Makes no sense, and unfairly profiles 2 breeds of dog. Shame.

@uponabranch Frankly, what people are worried about is the mandatory euthanization of specific breeds of dogs for no other reason than their breed or assumed breed. Propagandistic social messages like the one this commercial promotes are why APBTs, rottweilers, dobermans & a few other breeds are actually *banned* & routinely *killed* in some US cities. If racism is not acceptable for humans, then it shouldn't be acceptable in regards to dogs either. & fast food is garbage, so yes, boycott BK.

This commercial is horriable, they don't even use real pits or rotties in comercial yet they use the names. Then show an african american women and say you didn't get your check today. They prob couldn't use real pits or rotties cause where their corp office is there is a ban on pits. I will no longer eat or let my pibbles eat bk.
