i think i know what the problem is for the people who the texture doesn't show up for. in earlier tutorials we added a subsurf modifier. when i removed this or applied it, the grass texture showed up (in and out of game). if the plane is not smooth enough for u try adding more fractal levels.

i want to know how i can fix that so i can see both sides whenever. i fixed it( or at least temporary, but i make a copy of the same thing, then flip the copy's normals.)

@potatosizzle what you need to do is create a on the object you want the grass on, then change one of the dropdowns to 'hair' then fiddle with the options :)

when I do every thing in the video I go to the game engine the texture doesn't show, but when i render it it shows up just fine. Can you help me.

when u play it do u play it in texture mode? and also the way to get the texture to show during play depends on the version of Blender you have, what one do you have?

i have 2.48 but i think i had some bugs with my python scripting so i think maybe re-downloading it may help. so i guess i answered my oun question thanks for your extra advise though.

yea, also there is 2.48a, they fixed a bug w/ the 'a' version, idk what it is but i got it. and that happened to my combat arms lv.(end of video) so i always had to reload it every time, and since i haven't dome much in blender in a while i can't help u, YET. I'm getting back into it so don't give up on me yet lol. good luck

thank you i had a deadly virus on my comp so i had to reformat it so i just lost one of my projects i was working on so i was sick of blender for about 2 month but i think its time to get blender back oh yea can you tell me how to delete files in blender i'll start a new thing but i cant get rid of it when i want to.

i guess we're both getting back into it lol, u should post some of ur work, i could help u w/ it better if i see it. to delete blender files find where you save your files, then open that file/area and just delete them. if u have a hard time finding it search your computer for file u saved in blender, then just open file location.
