  • check my soundcloud for the beat i made out of this

    im1ufo/there-will-be-trouble

  • FLYLO CHOP THIS UP

  • Powerfull music, this film and the score turned Robocop into a superhero!!

  • Many might say that Robocop 2 wasn't as good as the first (and I agree) but you have to admit it was a good sequel anyway! The third movie was okay (When I was a kid back in '93) but now I think it could've been a better film! The theme to the first movie was fantastic and this theme makes me think of Murphy going through the ups and downs of being a cop! His story of being shot and then turned into a machine to fight crime again really hits me around 0;26-0:48 and 1:17-1:48! ROBOCOP FTW!

  • @RichardElden Great coment.

  • @RichardElden your trolling sucked

  • hey, at least robocop 2 kept the visceral feel to the violence to detroit, kept peter weller and the the tone and the music still feel very robocop. that whole 'reprogramming' robocop thing was beyond fucking gay and is pretty much what fucked the movie up.

  • The good RoboCop movies had Peter Weller in them.

  • This kinda sucks compared to the original theme.

  • 0:26 - 0:48 is the best part

  • the start sounds like a bleedin news report

  • Really strange main theme for this film. Parts of it are good, 0:00 - 0:27 for instance, other parts seem dated and out of place eg. 0:30 - 0:49 like from a Western or something, and the female choir is misguided.

  • I just saw Robocop 1 & 2 back to back (I think I've seen Robocop 3 only once in my life... and that's enough). And even though part II lacks the 'humanity' seen in Murphy towards the end of the first film, this movie has not only this amazing score, but also the main robot is just one of the scariest things I've seen in cinema. To this day still gives me chills. That stop motion technique adds something special to the horror!

  • @Dyegoh

I agree...Cane as the bad robot is SCARY! Stuff gives you nightmares! Forget Ed 209 which was a joke. lol

  • @Dyegoh I agree, there is a certain preternatural look and feel to stop-motion that is never present in CGI.

  • ROOOBOOOCOPPPP!!!!..ROOOBOOOCOPPPP!!!!!

  • @chocomofo79 I know that damn chicks voice stays in your head for fucking days.

  • Mouth off again like that & it's no more Nuke for you,BITCH!!! - Hob

best line in the whole movie

  • Google magnavolt! ... _m

  • Why don't you go fuck a refrigerator my favorite line in the movie.

  • @Rorschach2020 Robocop: I Just did

  • 3 people are having Nuke withdrawals.

  • @compsciguy suck dick

  • Best Robocop score.

  • これはいいぞ^^!

  • This reminds me of the Cloverfield overture "Roar"

  • Rosenman seems to repeat similar themes in every movie with just little modifications. Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings (1978), Star Trek IV, and now this. Not that it's bad music; on the contrary.

  • @WilfredIvanhoe

You too? You noticed that? He seemed to really like that tune didn't he?

  • Chorus: Roooobocoooooop-Roooobocoooooop, Roooobocoooooop-Roooobocoooooop LOL

  • I remember playing this song over again and again at the credits when I was a kid. Very inspiring song and I have been a fan of orchestral music ever since.

  • Robocop 2 was amazing I dont give a fuck what anybody thinks way more violent an offensive than the first one and Robocop 3 is just Lame Ass Pussy Bullshit ya lets make Robocop a kid friendly movie. FUCK THAT SHIT

  • One of my favorite scores

  • This movie had such an epic soundtrack.

  • damn now i want some Nuke!! :-P

  • this soundtrack really wasnt bad, it just didnt fit the RoboCop character-he was very complex and dark and the score didnt really reflect that-its very over-the-top heroic which isnt bad but not Poledouris

  • "Cain, let's step outside!" "We're only human"

  • it may be just me but doesn't this music with the trumpets are patterned sounds like something that Jerry Goldsmith [Papillion, First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo III, Total Recall, etc] orchestrated?

  • come to think of it, it sounds similar somewhat to "The Game" on Rambo II soundtrack where Rambo engages in a Ancient Afghan Sports Game and "Fight Night" where Rambo makes a attempt to save Colonel Troutman.....

  • I meant RAMBO III [3] not II

  • Robocop is a chump

  • Wow this 1990 movie's poster even to this day can still be considered epic.

  • The main bad robot in this movie is SCARY! Will give you nightmares!

  • The theme from the first one was more direct to the newness of such a movie. This version deals more with personal issues, as well as sticking to the metallic-type futuristic theme. He never stopped remembering, and in Robocop2, they prodded his mind, and made him something else, and Murphy still had enough sense to fry that program, so this theme definitely speaks to the evolution of this man trapped in this cold monolith. Peter Weller will forever be Robocop.

  • This sounds like a heroic Robocop theme, whereas the Basil Poledouris theme was dark and haunting.

  • Kane! Let's step outside!

  • Rented this movie, and watched it so much. Amazed my mom did because the cut up scene was brutal.

  • I have this CD, but it doesnt have the Robosalsa and i cant find it anywhere. Anyone has it?

  • @superrcain what is robo salsa

  • Robosalsa is the music heard when Robo first finds Cain in the drug factory and disturbs the baby so he turns it off.

  • omg i just noticed the reflection of robo2 on murphy's helmet!

  • same here, i thought those were clouds or something.

  • great song!

  • the melody-themes is not that good - but the construction of the music and instrumentation is awesome

  • Exactly. And that's what matters, not the melody, but the harmony and orchestration.

  • I had a giant movie poster same as the one up there.

  • the movie wasnt as good as robocop 1, but this soundtrack is wicked , i love this one

  • I agree, Leonard Rosenman did an awesome job

  • @Jimpsterz ya damn right this soundtrack, specifically this song is GOAT-like status!

  • @Jimpsterz Robocop 2 was trash, but was a hair better than Robocop 3. However, the decision to not rehire Basil Poledouris to do the soundtrack to Robocop 2 was a huge error. Rosenman was ok, but this tune is more jazzy. I thought the soundtrack was garbage. But Rosenman is still a pretty good musical conductor.

  • Robocop 1 is a classic, Robocop 2 was OK but not great, Robocop 3 was total dog shit.

Anyway Robocop 2 is elevated quite a bit by the excellent score (though Poledouris' Robocop 1 score is better).

  • Robocop 3 was way better than the prime derectives that they made

  • i agree 100% !!

  • @Graphic36 I like to think of RoboCop 3 in the same way as Superman 3 and other movies like it. Movies that had some really great moments and events that really stand out but can't sustain the movie as a whole. Yes the movie is bad; but like Street Fighter, Superman 3, Masters of the Universe, etc., it's bad in an awesome way.

  • @Graphic36

    exactly!!! 100% right!

  • @Graphic36 they should of made it like a connecting story kinda like Dark Knight. I whould be better

  • @Graphic36 hey robocop 2 was still great agreed not as good as robocop 1 but hell of alot better thn robocop 3

  • best super hero

i want peter weller comes back for robocop 4.....

Darren Aronovsky is a fuck guy he want the tile role mel ibson, leonado di caprio, vin diesel....what, ye thats truth but we must wait a few months and we will see.

    RoboCooop

  • I don't think this is as good as the theme from the original Robocop ... but coming in second to that theme is no shame at all. Leonard Rosenman did great work; I don't think any movie composer active today is his equal.

  • hey guys.. i am a big fan of ROBOCOP.... visit my channel, you find all 3 full movies and BONUS Video Etc....... great THEME...FUCK AWESOME....

  • I fuckin' love this movie and theme

    Rosenman rocks !

  • Hell Yeah!!

  • ROBOCOOOOOP

  • This movie was shit!!! But I kind of like this theme.

  • Da 1st theme intro was better

  • this is lame... they completely scrapped the first movie main theme's leit motiv, what for?

  • you know what if they remake Robocop i hope they keep the theme song from the first RoboCop movie and impro on it yea you are right whats with the Chorus? the first one is way better

  • It's nice but once you have good theme music , you should stick with it. I think the first music defines Robocop.

  • yhea like X Files did for 9 seasons

  • I thought the same first, but this theme is more suitable for the plot of robocop 2.

  • please? is there anywhere i can download this at? i love this song!

  • This theme absolutely rocks!!! It has that great nostalgic feeling of the first one and implements a new outstanding composition. Brilliant work!!!

  • This music rocks and so does the 1st one.

  • Robocop 1 and 3 are the best music scores of the robocop saga.

  • The first two minutes are absolutely epic!

  • I agree dude. The first few minutes truly get your adrenaline pumping! truly awesome!!

  • I loved Basil's score to the first one, but I think this one would've topped the first if it had incorporated both main themes instead of just this one. To me, the chord progressions used in this theme really scream Urban crime, so this would've been a great "Detroit" theme to contrast with Basil's "Robocop" theme used in the first. The two combined would've really worked, IMO.

  • ROBOCOP:Kane Dead or Alive your comming with me.classic

  • O_o'

  • Well the themes you hear were first made for the Lord of the Rings which came out in the late 70s. So you're not wrong in what you said.

Except for the wack part lol.

  • I think its called the kids gone wild.

  • does anyone know the name of the song that is played in the background of the arcade scene when robo wants to find out where cane is and makes the crooked cop tell him?

  • the kid goes wild by babylon ad

  • I think its called the kids gone wild.

  • Great music theme! A perfect contrast to the synthetic and often gloomy of Basil Polerdouris from the original!
