Hey man, not bad playing.

I'm thinking of getting that guitar and I'm wondering if the colour matte or if it's glossy (I'm looking for a nice guitar with a matte black finish)

Also, have you tried playing metallica solos and stuff with it? Is the sound good for that sort of music?

Well, the guitar isn't glossy at all. It is more satin, or matte black finish. It does scratch easily though but its ok. I have tried playing Metallica solos with it and I think the sound is more based on the amp and the effects. I use a line6 spider3 and digitech rp250, mostly cheap stuff, but it does produce a decent sound.

If you like Metallica solos, the down side to this one is that it doesn't have a tremolo bar. Its a great guitar though, I don't think I will ever sell this if I plan to buy a gibson in the future. Good Luck!

Sustain is partly from the guitar. Set necks tend to have better sustain than bolt ons, this one has a set neck.
