I actually think Ratchet's great short range. You fire three rounds or so with the secondary weapon, and by the time your primary weapon's overheated the grenades detonate and you've got a kill. Also, make sure to utilizie the slight speed advantage Ratchet has over characters like Megatron and Long Haul.

@saijinprince3421 I don't have it for 360 but can tell you it doesn't since the PS3 and 360 versions were simply ported and the PS3 version doesn't.

Besides not having a "deathmatch" mode offline, this game is only capable of one player per game/console, so even if it had an offline deathmatch mode, you'd be playing against computers, which you might as well replay some missions to get the same experience for.

You missed a golden oppertunity. The guy playing Megatron was hurt bad, and you were close enough to Sideways to melee him. I know Ratchet isn't all that combat worthy, but you really missed out there. Oh well.

Haha, just saying because it probably would help. I say you should practice melee with friends in like some private matches then unleash your newly discovered powers! But this tactic is good too, it's just it would make for more action. sorry for the long comment.

ok just came up with a awesome move. If you are being chased, powerslide around a building, jump on the wall, let your pursuer pass, then open up fire!

That's what I was trying to do @ 1:25 or so, but I died. XD I imagine one could also do a 180, go in reverse, and then shoot at them that way. Ha ha.

Helps if you have the faster alt-mode, I suppose.
