Okay, Recorded shows can be either Regular mono audio for most early cheap vcrs and hi-fi audio from later vhs models and or betamax. For most people, the only option is to transfer the video "as is" . However if you use windows movie maker, You can raise and lower the volume and save it that way. Once the video is uploaded "as is" you cant do much with the volume.

@chalomirof63 almost ALL YouTube videos, not just yours. What is up with that. The videos that I uploaded are fine, so it must be the people who are making the videos, they must have the audio set way too low.

@tmattrope Well, I'm glad it's not just me. But.......exactly how do you set the audio levels? This is the question that goes unanswered!!

@chalomirof63 I'm not sure because I don't know what hardware/software you are using. It could be that YouTube is responsible, since the quality of their videos is sometimes very bad and the synq isn't right either at times.

@tmattrope Well, to be honest, in my case, I think the problem starts with my "Dazzle" capture card, as that's where the flaws/gliches (hiccups, out of synq dialogue, etc.), emanate from. I don't think it's a Y.T. thing. The volume is another matter altogether, and I'm not a tech genius - LOL! But many thanks for your input.

@chalomirof63 I used to use Dazzle too...not sure if you can even adjust the audio...but try to see if you can. In any case these SCTV clips are hilarious, Lola Heatherton was my favorite character!

@tmattrope Haaa! Believe me, I looked for the volume control thingy, but it's really Greek to me. I really don't have a clue. I need someone sitting one foot away from me to show me the ropes! And Dazzle is sort of hit and miss; sometimes it captures perfectly, but most of the time, it freezes, skips, and I have to try to capture it several times before I upload it to Y.T. Really frustrating. Anyway, take care. Maybe I'll get it one day!! LOL.
