  • Thk guys, great stuff. Long live BS!

  • One of the best concerts ever recorded.

  • SĘDZIA PALIŁ CZUŁY GAZ xD

  • ... a time when black sabbath was developing their love for drugs - particularly marijuana and psychedelics - and alcohol. ROFL ... Great fucking song !!!

  • @ Tattoed, I have to go Bonham, but I agree Ward never really got the credit he deserves. Rival Brummys (English slang for Black Country Birmingham boys!) ;)

@ Brutal: Good call. Paris 1970 if I remember correctly. Paranoid hadn't even come out.

  • THEY FUCKIN RULE !!!!!

  • how did ozzy turn into such a clown in his old age?

  • @dujac88 He's always pictured himself as a clown. I guess those features are more visible at old age or something. Also, his brain has got to be really fucked up from all the drugs and alcohol he's been consuming in his life as well.

  • @ZamCronos - did you ever see black sabbath in the 1970's?

i did, many times and didn't see ozzy as a clown

the first time i saw him as a clown was in 1986

  • @dujac88 Nope I did not. I'm not saying that he WAS a clown, but HE sais that he always saw himself as a clown. That's what he sais in his book anyway. If you'd read my entire comment I said that it's probably the old age combined with the extreme lifestyle of his past that causes it.

  • @ZamCronos yeah oz speaks with a bit of a slur i think thats taking cocaine and alcohol the worst drugs combo the coke allows you to keep on drinking well past when you should have dropped..sharon arden is responsible for the parody that is the osbournes ..i hate it when all these straights go ozzys really funny etc..hes lost the plot abit an shes cashing in ..still thats only my view

  • fuck yea, not a single fuckin dislike. word.

  • Sabbath paved the way for all Metal bands ... Long live Tony Iommi - The God Of Metal Riffs.

  • Hail Lovecraft!

  • Notice the early beginnings of Electric Funeral at around 4:06?

  • @tonyfrombalt Electric Funeral was already recorded at this point.

  • the album "Black Sabbath" would be way better if they included the intro guitar solo on black sabbath and the outro of this song of this concert.

  • 1:50

  • You gotta love Bill Wards 'custom' stick holder!

  • I know some people get pissed when it comes to comparing sabbath and zeppelin so let it be known that I am not starting any kind of debate or who is better comparison. but this song sounds like it could be a zeppelin song. like I could Imagine Robert Plant singing this.

  • this is not 1972 video its 1970

  • @BrutalAssaultTV yeah this is from the 1970 paris concert

  • so fu*king great

  • Ive said it before and I'll say it again.....SABBATH RULES!

  • What is the time

  • @Ducklingy57 It's Sabbath time!

  • Man thats a cool-ass riff

  • It's "Chill that numbs from head to toe"

  • gots to love the metal

  • antologico

    massa d++++++++++++

  • amazing

  • 1970. Paris. Rules.

  • @koenanthebavarian Aren`t you a little young to be liking Black Sabbath videos?? Aaaaaahh, because you`re a sad little Canadian who likes to watch animals being tortured - now I understand the link. Read Ozzy`s autobiography - he never actually tortured live animals on stage. So now you`ll have to get your kicks from somewhere else- sicko

  • Man Ozzy's voice sounded great here.

  • I love this song, specially the rhythm of the drums, one of my favorites. Great Bill Ward!

  • I have always thought Sabbath sounded way better live.

  • @zephead......I wrote ...."Beyond the Wall of Sleep" is a short story by American writer H. P. Lovecraft ...............IT"S A SHORT STORY.........NOT A SONG...I know the name of the song.

  • wasnt this is 1970 in france not in 1972?

  • @epicblogofdoom "Yes,.. Paris 1970,.. I was just about to make/say that same assumtion,.. thats what it looks like"..!!!

  • terrible noise

  • geezer fucking butler

  • so wasp is just the opening riff and behind the wall of sleep is the rest of the 5 minutes?

  • @SOADSfetus " YUP " - zephead65

  • you can just absorb the bands coke induced energies

  • "Beyond the Wall of Sleep" is a short story by American writer H. P. Lovecraft written in 1919 and first published in the amateur publication Pine Cones in October 1919...........Being a teenager in the 70's was fuckin great.

  • @returnunopen " Behind The Wall Of Sleep " is the name of the song not Beyond the Wall of Sleep..!!

  • RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • this is live in paris 1970 by the way. theres a dvd. they played here 1 week before the release of Paranoid

  • deadly petals with strange power

  • wow this i a rare piece of vid thx a lot dude

  • go Ozzy

  • Fantastic!!! Great post!!!

  • 1970..

  • I love their very begenning too. They started along with bands like Jethro Tull and Atomic Rooster, doing similar things with deep heavy blues inspiration, but they played good music until the end. I mean, i'm far muuuuuch interested in the 69-78 years.

  • ozzy at his best!!! great vid

  • KrewSaydr read the lyrics of after forever i say you gonna change the way you think when the time comes

  • fucking Bill Ward

  • They were so loud in Savannah, GA at the Civic Center in the seventies that we had to get away from the stage to enjoy them. I still love them all and am glad they are still alive with us as of 5-27-09. unlike so many others. Their songs are wonderful and can be copied but no one can compare with Ozzie when it comes to vocals. He says on the commercial he has been the prince of darkness since 1979. It has been longer than that...OZ and Sabbath we love you.

  • @Ncharlestun Your comment says it all! Thank you!

  • @Ncharlestun they are still alive (10-07-2011) and I had the chance to see Ozzy live last year !

  • terrific!! the creme of sabbath

  • Brings back memories of getting high

  • wow its is a great song joe well hi!

  • why does it say wasp?

  • Wasp/Behind the Wall of Sleep/Bassically/N.I.B. is the full song on the cd

  • this fucking great stuff. brings back memories. i remeber sitting on the corner of 16th and Passyunk Ave in South Philadelphia listening to Black Sabbath, looking for some pussy or a fist fight. If you know the area, you get it!

  • thumbs up

  • This Is Just Incredible!! What a cool song!!

  • ive always loved this song!

  • and ITS 70 NOT 72

  • wasp??????wtf??,not behind the wall of sleep?O.O

  • another name for the song is wasp

  • really? Ive never heard it called that before and ive been into em for 23 years! i thought maybe that it was a name for the jam at the end or something.

  • I think its supposed to be Wasp/Behind the wall of sleep....I think the opening jam is titled Wasp. I could be wrong, I think thats what is printed on the back cover of the album.

  • KUDOS! This Is fantastic!!!!!

  • Cool!!! I Love Black Sabbath at live and at dead)

  • This is 1970

  • I just choose not to weaken myself to "faith"

Though what you said is true, and well put, their will still be fools who believe in something divine, the Sun is not divine, so yeah, they were on to something

  • ok ok i have to say it.... i think ozzy is hot in this vid... no its not weird (and if you think so keep it to yourself please.)

  • I could buy into the whole "stoner-rock" scene and spend thousands on so-called classics. Or, I could go out and get the first 5 Sabbath albums and be done with it.

  • @redshaftedflicker So true dude. Iommi, Butler and Ward at their peaks make a lot of the current "stoner rock" seem really fuckin limp. Plus, they were creating a genre and not subscribing to one.

  • dang it! my friend was right!I DONT BELONG IN THIS ERA... 2000S AND ALL... I BELONG IN THE 70S, (60S) 80S, THE ERA OF (C)RAP IS SO WRONG FOR ME...i wish i was alive then, with black sabbath.

  • me too man. i feel ur pain. if only i could see sabbath in like '72 '73

  • the drummer looks scared at one part..haha

    '

    kickass fuckin song!!

  • Bro, if you did as much drugs as Bill Ward did, you'd be afraid to be alive. He was one kick ass drummer...even through it all.

  • haha probably..

  • Was?

    Still is!

  • Icy sun with frosty glow.

  • I always thought the lyric was "Kill the nuns from head to toe" lol

  • I thought ozzy said Children numbs from head to toe. And after the first lyric set thing I thought it said Deadly Battles with strike 4

  • deadly petals with strange flowers..

  • Deadly petals with strange POWERS

  • Yeah right on dude!

  • @blacksabbath1012 Its ,.. "Chills & Numbs from Head to Toe, I See Sun with a Frosty Glow" It's a reference to Blow,...as in Coke,.. get it.... hey that sort of rhymed,... hahah
