It's fucking lame but it violates the dress code. When you go to someone else's house you have to go by the house rules or they just kick you out the house. Did you know there are clubs where men can't even wear hats? You'll get arrested if you cause a scene on their property over it too. Men can't even wear facial hair at school or we get sent home, if we don't leave we get arrested No shit!
Pro tip: When you go to a social function follow the dress code and don't try to 1up everyone else.
