I also used these gloves for a couple of hours and the left one is now more or less falling apart. Great fit but the seams are to close to the edge of the leather causing the thread to rip through and therefore leaving holes. I also believe there is room for some improvement in the design remowing som stress points.There is no kevlar in the palms by the way. I intended to use them for tactical purposes bu they were more suited for mowing the lawn.
how about the palms? Is there kevlar protection in the palms? Thats where I would want it the most. If you go to grab the wrist of an assailant who is wielding a knife, and he draws back a few inches as you reach, you can easily end up grabbing the blade. Theres a dozen other reasons for needing kevlar in the palms. If some one comes at you with a knife it would be nice to be able to grab the blade if nessesary to stop the attack.
