Brings me right back to the summer of '88 - and this was the true MTV video - only way you could ever see this rare live version was to watch MTV and pray they would play it. Classic 80's ballad, the best in my book.
I have yet to make it through this song without tears. Had to look it up as the man who makes this so special, just contacted me tonight after 10 years. Damnit
...Few can respect the wonderous tributes you've made possible as in hidden increments they are made visable - As you would allow. Humility is foremost guarded but foremost rewarded by him that matters most. I applaud you and yours and wish you only the best. B.T.W. Ignore the idiots with the hair comments as they weren't there and couldn't know any differenece...
I gotta say, Mr. Richard, Hugh jackman and Kevin Cosner recently made a showing within my hometown area. They showed up at a tavern named "Mac's" and were assualted by fans there. I love Hugh's and like Mr. Kevin's afforts but the true star amongst them was Mr. Richard. To rise, literally, from the ashes and to give back that what which was so richely recieved shows a distinction of character that few can ever achieve. Bravo Mr. Richard. Amongst this crowd it's your autograph I seek, Bravo.
Richard Marx is a great singer/songwriter! As with the Survivor songs I've commented on here n YouTube, this one has, shall we say, special meaning for me I won't reveal on here.
This reminds me of the love of my life he will always have a place in my heart...Babe just hold on to the night we had together....someday we will be together I know it...love you..
wish i could give you something more, reminds of my younger years, one of the best song for me,no other song, such as this have the drums on the latter part, bang, the best arrangement
a música romântica ideal para aquela noite de lua cheia, estrelada, com aquela gata....muito vinho e muito amor para dar.... Richard Marx é retrato fiel de como a pop music tem q ser: criativa e sucinta....e com melodia....nao esse lixo de hj!
Still brings happy tears to my eyes.......the 80's were awesome. I can't wait to see Richard Marx here in BC next month!! Gosh, I wanted to marry him when I was a teenager!
You're right sad enough you weren't old enough but you can alway's go back and view plenty of vids on the tube. All theyear's had era's 60's,70's,80' even 90's in a little way ,we are going through no era now.
