Documentaries like this are so annoying. There was no reason for this to be dragged out over 45 minutes. They could have skipped the silly clips of crashing waves, stopped repeating themselves every five minutes and ended up with a nice entertaining half hour show. This is so tedious I had to stop watching.

Great white sharks are curious creatures, if they see something which looks like s seal they will either go for it or bump into it with its nose to see what it is. They also hate the taste of human, it is like repulsive to them so if they bit a human they will most likely go away but because of the great white sharks sheer power in their bite, they wound can be serious.

@JDAwesomeO Some of that statement is fake, Human blood isnt a repulsive to them, when they bump into the human and/or bite, they will come back because like you said, they mistake us for a seal. The meat isnt much different for a shark, it's full of nutrients which the sharks can feast upon. So when they bite, they will come back for more, but it depends on how big we actually are, and how desperate the shark is.

@TheLilmoudy I agree! - I don't think I know of any reported attacks where a Sharks has fully eaten a human. They usually bite but for some reason let go.

@genie121 I'm researched cases where sharks have been cut open and human remains have been found inside, where people have witnessed shark attacks on beaches etc but when life guards etc have gone to look for the bodies, no remains have ever been found or washed up at all, but they are very rare. Most shark fatalities are caused by blood loss/extensive trauma (missing legs, arms, chunks missing, etc) as far as I know-I have researched many, many cases.

@genie121 We are too thin most of the time. They like a lot of fat on prey, and they let go most of the time as we are not what they first thing. Mistaken Identity is a common reason they let go.
