Entwistle in unmatched in bass anyway. the only differences is that the who is good at improvising and dose it in much shorter and energetic bursts. they fill their songs with new material instead of writing in a time when to improvise

Consider this: if Zeppelin didn't improvise at all live, their show would be about 1:30. But because they do improvise, it goes to about 3 hours plus. Dazed and Confused is only a 6 min song, but they've done it for over 45 minutes.. you can't deny that they're good. They're just different from The Who.

A 'lead zeppelin'... naver heard that before, never seen one one flied too"... The Who laughed at Led Zeppelin starting at the beggining, but they took the title that Townshend said, but Keith moon who came up with the idea and used, because it was catchy and they didnt knew what else, also to show the who whos better...

Led Zeppelin are an incredible band, but when they tried to diversify they wrote much worse songs. The Who only became better when they tried writing in a different style (well, until "By Numbers").

better writing, early zeppelin had a more jam feel to it along with the lyrics, but after few years amazing lyrics with humor too.
The Who did some great projects i respect very much
for me it is totally zeppelin, but if i had listened to the who earlier, i would have been more fan than for led zepp
