Wait Aion is hard to play? I'm an average american and yea its pretty easy. Its a mmorpg whats so hard about it? Thinking about what buttons to press besides mashing away on your keyboard.
i like the view point of the game but ive never played it, but i might plan on it...can u change the language of the game the language it looks like their speaking is Chinese, can u make the language English?

3 million subscriptions (of which 80% are from China and Korea) means that Aion has been really successful guys.
US/EU players are essentially deserting the game, hence the massive server merges to maintain the illusion that people are still playing. And it's not even been 1 year since it's US release LOL.
@Xuvial What are you comparing it to, out of curiosity? WoW? FFXI? Everquest? Let's be honest here, WoW and FFXI had a long popular history before they became MMO style series. Everquest, being a predecessor to almost most MMO's was one of the 1st, giving it a reason to have such a high number of players after a year. Aion is new, yes people knew of NCsoft before Aion, but Aion itself was still a new attempt at a game, so please give credit where it's due, instead of flaming something.

When an MMO starts having to resort to desperate measures to keep people interested before it's even 1 year old, it's not a good sign. I'll give Aion credit - beautiful graphics, very interesting and involving gameplay from lvl 1 to lvl 20. After that...lets just say the developers got fuckin lazy (typical NC Soft).

@zimi13laura it doesnt make them run faster, they just have small steps coz their short. For the reason why they do so, tiny chars are hard to target, for clickers of course,
@zimi13laura one advice, if you wanna play, you better buy the game, because, if you choose playing on a private server, beware, it will be boring, players from there are only for lvl and pvp, they arent friendly, and besides, you farm alone, and thats boring too, ^^ thats why i quitted, and im playing battle of the immortals, much, much more better :)

Dig a little deeper than fan-made videos, read in-depth reviews done on proper game sites (like Gamespot or IGN), get a good grasp on how well Aion is TRULY doing and what are it's flaws.
That way you can be better prepared to know what sort of a game Aion is and what to expect.

arg, that kind of characters are too much strange for me, too much manga but at least im glad to see thousands of better games than wow today. Looks fun, the movements and the combos look nice, i just don't like how they look but good game. 1.000 better than wow

Yeah, I just bought a new game time card yesterday because I was due on the 22 to be billed. The game just came out on September 22 and I have not used a full month of gaming yet. You pay monthly in NA regardless of how many hours you actually play per month... Just like the WoW payment system.
From what I've read... it's pay 2 play (monthly- but not exactly every month). There's a good thing about they're payment system. Example, if you didn't play for about 2 weeks or a month... that unused time is still valid until you used-up all that 1 month time you payed.

Umm no youre wrong, i play the game and Tarmacpunk is right. If you payed for a game play time of a month then if you dont play for 2 weeks as he/she said then it doesnt charge you for that time only for the time that you actually played

arg, that kind of characters are too much strange for me, too much manga but at least im glad to see thousands of better games than wow today. Looks fun, the movements and the combos look nice, i just don't like how they look but good game. 1.000 better than wow

those characters look like that cuz thats the Korean version of the game so people are naturally gonna make their characters look like that but in aion u can look however u want with the great creation system they have for characters shoot my character looks a little bit like a purple orlando bloom(i think its the facial hair i chose) sadly i didnt notice till my friend pointed it out to me after i beat him in a pvp :)

For an Assassin that's Binding Rune. It's known as an Aether hold. Every class gets it at 25 I believe.

Binding Rune its an Aetheric hold effect for assassins....played right....its the time where you try to dmg as much as possible as its abit longer than the other stuns so they cant do anthig...pop health pots.....stun yo....etc.....played rght its an I WIN button

On my assassin its called "Binding Rune I" and the "blue ball thingie" is called "Aether's Hold State"
Multiple classes can put someone in this state, and some have skills/spells that can only be used when someone is IN Aether's Hold state.

Why does North America have to rip us off? I mean, yeah, it looks like an awesome game so I get that we would have to pay for the maintenance and stuff, but why can't you pay for hours instead of a set time? That would be much more convenient to a lot of people if they don't have enough time. (P.S - Is the assassin good? They look really fun to play as if I can ever get this game)

Yeah, I just bought a new game time card yesterday because I was due on the 22 to be billed. The game just came out on September 22 and I have not used a full month of gaming yet. You pay monthly in NA regardless of how many hours you actually play per month... Just like the WoW payment system.

From what I've read... it's pay 2 play (monthly- but not exactly every month). There's a good thing about they're payment system. Example, if you didn't play for about 2 weeks or a month... that unused time is still valid until you used-up all that 1 month time you payed.

no thats not how it works, its the same as wow. you pay for a month of time and after that month (even if you didnt play for 2 weeks) it charges you again

Umm no youre wrong, i play the game and Tarmacpunk is right. If you payed for a game play time of a month then if you dont play for 2 weeks as he/she said then it doesnt charge you for that time only for the time that you actually played

Hmmm, why do the assassins seem to run to awesomely. I guess it just changes as you level, my elyos assassin runs like a retard. Anyone know how you get your character to run all hunched over and stuff? Like in 1:54-1:56, the elyos sin.
