People complaining about Rupert Murdoch need to get over it. He is not the only media mogul out there. How come no one mentions Sumner Redstone & Viacom? As I recall, Viacom bid for MySpace, but was outbid by Murdoch & News Corp. As for the New York Post, yes, it is a conservative newspaper. There aren't too many of those out there, you know. The NY Daily News used to be conservative until the mid-1970's when it changed its outlook to a liberal newspaper. Worry about your lives, and move on.

Wait a second! most newspapers are liberal now to? the only major liberal newspapers I know of are the LA & NY times, and possibly the Chicago tribune! even Chicago's is a stretch. Just about every other major cities newspapers are either conservative or hang around on the fence somewhere! that puts conservative newspapers reaching far more readers than liberal ones. Same go's for radio! as for Viacom and other corp. I agree, they all should have limits to what they can own! including Murdoch!

You're right, there are some people that do that, but for me, and many others, the concern isn't that he's conservative or what his political views are, but rather that he extends that influence to his growing monopoly on the media.

In the Times of London Rupert Murdoch made a journalist cover-up a UK bank found guilty of large scale fraud in a UK court but suppressed by the Serious Fraud Office. The cover-up may have cost a life on the 13th July 2004. Ordinary people and investors are kept in the dark. Not to mention the 9/11 cover-up.

It really isn't about CNN/Fox news or liberal/conservative bias.. It's about dumbed down news, sensational infotainment that these mega corporations put out. It's not news anymore.. CNN and Fox both broadcast entertainment when they are supposed to be broadcasting news. If you have fewer and fewer media owners then you will get fewer and fewer points of view. We need lots of media outlets so that everyone's interests are served and we need more journalism!
