Ringo was a great drummer; not to mention he has already a paid professional before joining the group. Ringo knew when and WHEN NOT to play. He allowed the music to breath. Ringo was actually the first to leave the group, but Paul sent him the now famous postcard declaring Ringo to be "the best drummer in the world."
