  • omg ONE AND HALF MINUTE of watching you trying to find the right song and whatnot, OKAY, WE BELIEVE that you made it, what about cutting it out? anyways, sounds great, really great :-)

  • What drum sounds are you using?

  • nice ;)

  • now thats a bunch of flps there :D

  • Well done,

If you'd take the speed up to 160 you're inside the DnB rate and still easy to mix with industrial (around 80).

  • ultrafuncular mon! enjoyed it alot

  • wicked.. I love industrial/dark electro and i love dnb, great mix of styles :)

  • This is great work. Keep it up.

  • wow this is good keep it up :D

  • Would you be willing to share what synths you used for this track? I have toxic biohazard, did you make your own synths, or use presets?

  • i hear pro 53 lol dope track man keep it up... not rely dnb but still a tite dark industrial joint...

  • I'd pay hundreds of dollars for a mixtape of this stuff...

  • not my musicstyle

    but nice work with FL

  • sick!

  • careful with the maximus and the limiter... alot of people fuck up their sound with it because of exceeding the ceiling without knowing it, forcing negative feedback. Basically, dont make things too loud in total for a better and free sound.

  • 22 o' clock.. my favorite time of the day.

  • I dig it. Great synths with a lot of depth and changes. I want to put it in the same realm as DJ? Acucrack's material. Keep em coming.

  • Sounds like something off of an Unreal soundtrack. I like, no, wait, I LOVE this song! :)

In fact, I think this'll be playing in the background for my next tournament. ;)

  • Its a very nice song but it needs to be a bit faster. Drum n Bass is like 160-170 BPM.

  • I dont think it has anything to do with speed, I think it's fine at that rate

  • @lyken123 Just because most DnB is like that, doesn't mean it all should be.

I think ThaDevilsSoul managed to use a tempo that suited this song almost perfectly.

  • Very nice combo of DnB and industrial. I've been working on a tune like that myself.

  • this is some dope stuff kid.

  • the intro is perfect but the other parts of song are too full with something. i don't know- maybe it's the bass?

  • Well done!

  • i think thats why its named DnB vs Idustrial, sounds exactly like that to me.

  • incorrect

  • WOW wish i could hear more

  • FUCK! wish it was longer.

  • sick !

  • AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! THE DRUMS are AMAZING!

  • Good ;]

  • You're retarded..This guy is a genious, it's experimental and that's cool. Please go flame someone else.

  • AWESOME..can u upload it as mp3 file ?

  • Not bad, I like it, good job man

  • How do you make the Synthesizer sounds? sorry for asking, but i´m new to FL Studio

  • It's more complicated than 1 convo reply but you can google some tutorials on how to use sytrus or some other synthesizer, personally I like predator/scannedsynth etc for DNB :)

  • Intersting :D

  • N I C E !

    5/5 man !

  • nice!!!

  • Nicely done. Great use of toxic III :b very similar to the style of music I make. Great job, 5 star for u!~

  • Just started off serious with my DnB in Fl.

I found your music very inspiring...Why is your myspace down?

  • please purchase these nuts in yo mouth

  • LOL

  • Hits Hard

  • damn kickass song man

  • awesome!

  • Very nice track man.. Very diverse.. You've got tallent! 5/5 for creativity

  • Amazing track, I wish I could create stuff like that...maybe I'll try adding some DnB elements to a future track xD

  • cool dude

  • wikkid !

  • Badass! I likes!

  • nice!!!

  • sounds like Deathstars.

if you havnt heard them check them out

  • yo ! DeathStars is a metalband dude. Nothing to do with D&B

btw DeathStars is a good band ^^

  • i know there a metalband I have there albums.

i just meant all of the synths and Industrial drums sounds like Deathstars. which is true :)

  • wicked use of FL!!! seven thumbs up from me!!!!

  • "God damn- that DJ make my d-day."

  • That is sooooooooooo Unreal Tournament 2004 Style! :D I like it a lot

  • Parathile Drum Pack?

  • Whoa! That was insane! Mixing DnB and Industrial together, genius work right there.

  • Awesome! Dnb and industrial - my two favourite genres put together <33

  • Wow!!!!

  • oh wow, I wish you would make tutorials!

  • I guess it wasn't hard to predict that his wouldn't actually be industrial.

And it's not DnB just because you threw a break next to a bass line.

  • yeah it is. thats what dnb is.. whether u think the song is good or not doesnt matter

  • You're right, I concede dnb IS just break beats with bass...

But I still hold, this is NOT industrial. At all.

  • actually this is UK garage, dnb is much faster (around 170-190bpm)

  • well no its just a slow drum and bass track grarage dosnet have this much balls :P

  • the industrial elemant isnt because it sounds like a proper industrial track .. its got industrial elements and influences all the same :)

  • He calls it industrial!

The poster thinks this is "more or less industrial" "influenced by drum and bass"

It's as LESS industrial as just about anything, because industrial is a kind of ANTIMUSIC

  • depends if your refering to the orgional industrial. old noise music an d the like or the more comman moder derivitive ...tbh who cares its a nice track

  • sorry i ment modern

  • Original IS industrial. The new stuff has little if nothing to do with it and would be more aptly termed as new wave rather than anti-music. It is ridiculously formulaic and uninspired. It might be good for action movie soundtrack fodder, but not a whole lot else.

  • i like this sound. a bit slow for dnb, but the idea is excellent!

  • bad ass tune!

  • People shouldn't be worshiping my DnB track, yours is the true definition of a killer track!

  • inBASStrial or DRUM'N'STEEL ? DUST'N'DRUM? something along the lines

  • Genre: Drum'N'Bass FUSION Industrial

    should call it: Drum'n'Industrial. :P

  • heavy track but needz speeding up

  • fl studio iz da daddy

  • ive been produceing music for........9 years now.ive used every software in the BOOK. these recent versions of what used to be simple old " Fruity Loops" are acctually sounding very very good. comming from someone who's been useing the studio standard for recording ( pro tools), i can honestly say that fruity loops is a very well designed template for creation. people who think its " a begginer app", only say that cuz theyve not sat on it for more than 20mins, and made nothing more than a loop.

  • exactly man, agreed 100%

  • holay fuck.

  • also reasons sound quality is pretty shit compared to a lot of these plugins you can get, and it cant use those, and it cant record audio, so i cant see in any way how reason is any better.

  • Secondly, why would you want to record in windows audio recorder? that just sounds retarded. doesn't really prove you are better. You just may have alot of gear you aren't utilizing with a decent daw.

  • No, I seriously don't want to sequence with the audio recorder, again, I didnt say that. It may be possible (who cares) but I just exaggerated in order to make my point more clear:

A pro sequencer is not a formula for good or professionally sounding music, it really depends on your skill and talent. The what daw you use is irrelevant goes hand in hand with that statement.

  • This is my opinion, if anyone thinks different about it please feel free to contradict me, though I guess I wont be able to believe unless the one has really some good arguments or proofes.

  • i'm late by a year. But that was the point i was getting at. This track is fine by me though.

  • People just hate fruityloops. if you would have just sent the track and no posted the video they wouldn't be able to tell.

  • SWEET..CHECK OUT MY SONG..NEED TIPS

  • nice man.

i produce with flstudio also. I use real equipment as well as reason, so as far as your argument goes, im on your side. Fl studio does everything all the other guys do FL just found ways to make it easier. I know when im on a roll with writing, ill be damned if im gonna spend a half hour on the first beat. Just because its harder, doesn't make it better, just less efficient and by the time you finish the intro, you've lost inspiration and the will to continue progress til another day

  • Word!

  • fl studio is so amatuerish

  • I hear silly ass comments like this all the time. Its huge bullshit!

WHAT DAW YOU USE IS IRRELEVANT, the sooner people understand this the better. If you have the skill you can make tunes with the windows audio recorder.

You may understand this one day but itll take some time, the dumber you are the more.

I should actually remove your childish comment

  • fine do it. lol i dont really care i was just stating a fact. but just know that if you ever want to work in the field of electronic music someday you might as well familiarize yourself with real equipment. there is nothing wrong with using fl studio...like for people who are just starting out in the music industry. but if you want to delete my comment go ahead.

  • I agree, though you could have made your point more clear form the beginning on so that I didn't have to bitch around.

The thing with sequencers is imo; same crap but different ways of doing it! FL makes those ways simpler then other daws so it may appear amateurish. I agree it's simple but if it's a good way for you to work and get your tunes, why not?

Real equip is necessary, no question! But it doesn't really matter if you sequence your shit with FL or Nuendo. Do it how you want it.

  • What DAW you use IS Relevant. You need to understand that. You can't produce a full track with recorded instruments in FL. You can't do most of the shit you can do in Ableton on Fl either. Or Logic. Or ProTools.

I see FL as a learning tool. Nothing more.

I'd also like to see you make a whole song with just windows audio recorder.

  • Never said I could do it, learn how to read!

FL studio got truly an advanced sequencer and you can do most/all of the shit you can do in Cubase, Abletot. I know as I tried those. Of course you can produce a full track with blah blah... Most people think FL sucks cause they don't know how to use it...just like you I think. Don't judge things you have no clue of! If you get your tunes mastered professionally you'll hear no difference in which damn sequencer the tune was made anyway!

  • i used to use fl studio and now ive moved on to bigger programs like reason and stuff. which is what i am currently using. it took me 2 hours just to make a simple drum pattern. now THATS something that shouldnt happen to you in fl studio. and even if you have expert experience in reason it still is gonna take no less than 30 mins but i understand how you would use fl studio because you think that as long as it sounds good, it is good.

  • ok. I use reason too rewired with FL since a couple years. It's cool if you like the hardware feeling. I don't think it's complicated though.

  • its more complicated than fl (no offence)

  • yes

  • reason is not a "bigger program"

i have been using Reason, and now i have moved on to bigger programs liek FL Studio

    hahaha

  • hahahahaha--your a retard. fl studio is in fact for beginners in the music industry and you can ask anybody here. it doesnt demean fl studio in any way but it is true. even the dude who was totally agrees that the interface (the oldschool hardware feeling or whatever) can seem more complicated than fl studio. and fl studio doesnt have any features similar to real mixers and electronic instruments that people use. so you can shove your comments right...you know what i mean.

  • what can other DAWs do that FL studio cant, i havent really run into much yet. i have used pro tools and digital performer and have extensive experience with reason. the only thing i can say is its not well suited for a proffesional band recording environment. but in a 1 man production situation it is almost eveyrthign you could ask for.

  • fl studio is great. i have nothing against it. but it doesnt really have any similarities with real mixing instruments.

  • c'mon?... in fact if you are using a computer, it doesn't have any similarities at all, be real.

James Holden began making music with Buzz, its a freeware software. And it doesn't look like a "real instrument" as you said.

Its not the software, its how you use it.

You can make a masterpiece with FL or a disaster with Ableton Live.

    Its all in the brain.

  • cirk stop saying stuff that everybody already knows. and actually reason contains some of the most realistic mixing instruments and distorters ever in computer software. and we already know how you people work. "who gives a shit about its quality. as long as your good at it then it doesnt matter." WELL WHOOP-DEE-DO! guess what cirk? that has nothing to do with what were talking about. so i'd prefer if you would kindly leave the discussion.

  • whoa! i see you're smart and very wise of course, do you want a Noble Prize for it Mr. Rethorical?

  • holy crap dude that is like the best insult ive heard in a long time. you really know how to diss a 12 year old and i bet you've been thinking about saying that to somebody for a long time havent you? good job.

  • fl is very good if you use the right vsti's :D

  • nobody ever said it wasnt

  • ppl say all the time that fl sucks

  • i mean nobody here said it sucked...i dont think.

  • actually, my quote wasn't about proving fl isn't a bad program but just to give a little extra info :p

like: ppl say that for example reason is better, but that isn't true, because.. if you use the rigth vsti's etc..

it's a weird explanation i know ^^ but do you get what i mean? :p

    was a little confused :)

  • buuut like i said 1000 times i never said reason was better than fl. it just seems less amatuerish. just because somebody can make an awesome song on it doesnt mean that its not an amatuerish program itself. i wasnt questioning its flexibility in fact fl in some cases is more compatible and flexible than reason. but the interface is amatuerish. yes i said it. sue me.

  • haha chill man :D

look, my opinion: It doesn't matter what program you use, as long if it fits you. Making good music has nothing to do with the programs you use but with your own creativity and how you work with the programs you use.

  • *sigh* you have no idea how many times ive gotten the idea that you dont give a shit about the program as long as ur good at it. trust me...I GET IT. im not trying to sound mean or anything but im just trying to tell you that i pretty much have the picture in my head. okay? okay.

  • I sometimes find it funny how some people react on certain things. This is one of those.

yes? oh boy oh boy, yes!

No what i'm trying to say is: chill man, like i already said up there!

  • so youre just assuming that im spazzing out? im trying to reason with you but apparently thats just not getting to you. and btw i still dont get how im the one who should chill.

  • Don't look at me, i'm chill ALL the time :)

look it's just stupid to see our comments, there all about a stupid subject. Maybe we should stop the discussion because it doesnt make any sense :D

  • ...agreed.

  • nice 1;>

    check owt mine->agrssv

    @;-

  • dubstep

  • nice song

  • soo niceeee

  • This is off the chain nigga.

  • would love to heart this at about 168bpm

  • lovin the sound of this!! sounds like somthin from the old mortal kombat games.

    keep up the good work

  • Before I watched the video and read your comment I was thinking, wtf. But now I completely understand you lol. It does sound like some mortal kombat beat.

    Keep up the good work!

  • nice, your style of dnb amazes me :D

  • it is dnb just down tempo it really cool

i have some dnb songs check them out

  • sounds sort of like somatic responses. good stuff

  • I like!!!

  • dnb with 142 bpm?

    i think it too slow)

  • I must agree with Derner777 bit more higher then you got it.

either then that it's pretty good

  • ur right man like 180bpm ur sumfin

  • Thats what I use. Check Out my vids please and comment. I don't suck And I'm not a beginner either.

  • i like it ;)

  • Great sound!

  • this looks better breax, then d'n'b...

  • nice track! i love it! make a drum and bass version too!

    :]

check out my work also if you'd like.

  • OK that sounds amazing, but it would sound better with D&B drums not break beat!

alot of peeps on youtube think that just bcoz its drumz and bass it is! its not it need a fast 180 bpm drum pattern roughly neway

    other than that 5/5

  • sik!!

  • this is rly good :) love teh crazy sounds :P

  • nah i like the speed in that!!!! i dont think it needs speedin up at all! lol ive made a pretty decent dnb track usin reason 4.0 gonna try and get it up on ere

  • The whole song seems to be building up to something...

I was expecting a phat rewids followed by fast p[aces drum loops and distorted basslines.

Maybe you could do a remix ?

  • But it is an excellent song for what it is i was just expecting drum and bass lol.

    5 stars.

  • Pretty unique song, i liked it. Wish I could do something this cool. I'm practicing to make IDM and breakcore in FL Studio.

  • Too slow for Drum n Bass, I agree...post a faster one man, love to hear it...

  • should maybe speed it up a tad. good work though

  • sounds a little more Industrial then DNB.

    Quality work however.

  • Very very nice, 5 stars...

  • hell yeahhhh)

  • sounds gud

  • cool track check out mine

  • <33

  • Are those sub woof beats FL stock? I'd love to know how you made those, or how you got them! from 2:50 onwards, I hear them.
