OH MAN! I had some in india. Only street vendors sell it fresh, they use pretty much the same method. Although in india, they would put the sugar cane through a second time to extract more juice. Anyways, it tastes amazing. Not only that, you feel so energized after drinking it, and its very very healthy.
We used to eat raw sugar cane that my parents would buy from local farmers here in L.A. It's been a while since I've had it, but it was really tasty. A whole glass of the juice would be amazing. I'm gonna go out and find some this weekend.
Is it possible to purchae sugar cane and juice it?
Loved the video Mike and reading Natural News! So good to see family working together and children helping. The machinery and use of aluminum disappoints me though. Is there any other way to press the cane using some sort of manual press?
By the sounds of the heavy traffic, this family sure have a thriving home business! Hope all those truckers stopped to buy fresh CANE JUICE & not only to meet you Mike. :)
A project like this would go down so well in many places throughout Madagascar, where the people are terribly poor, but their land is extremely fertile, so fresh produce grows in abundance. Madagascar is home to the adorable LEMURS in case one didn't know.
Definitely worth a visit - but be warned, transport is a NIGHTMARE!
Hilarious! People squawk because kids are being subjected to a "dangerous" environment!
I grew up on a Pennsylvania pig farm and let me tell you, I would not trade my childhood for anything. It was a normal farm and we learned to work...and we learned where not to put our hands around machinery.
Look at the kids in this video. They are well fed, healthy and with their families!
A bunch of North American kids could use some of that "unsafe" environment ;-)
But I have a problem with this diesel engine. All the toxic output into our invironment that sure does not help. Also I see they use alluminum foil before it goes into the bucket. Are there other ways to this?
I love the work you do dear Mike but again the enigine output and the alluminum foil just does not go with nature.
Thank you for teaching the public on health otherwise.
I can imagine the Whining you would get out of the Average Young American girl if you asked her to work the cane machine

Fresh raw cane juice, although generally hard to come by, makes a good alternative to the maple syrup used in the Master Cleanser juice fast.
Hey Mike, how about hosting some Master Cleanse retreats when the center is up and running?

Great video. Can we purchase a sugar cane stalk and juice it ourselves? And where can the juice be purchased in the US? Wonderful video Mike.

Representative Rosa L. DeLauro (D - CT) is the woman who sponsored Food Safety
Modernization Act of 2009 HR875:
1. Her husband, Stan Greenberg, has MONSANTO as a client.
2. She received $180k in donations from agribusiness PAC's.
3. She's pals with Rahm Emanuel.
Considering the above points and the fact that there are 39 cosponsors and a Democrat
majority, this could be a tough battle.
