  • song always has and always will remind me of the late Jennifer Moody (NT murder victim late 70's Pine Wood park)....God Bless you Jenny///may your soul perpetually rest!!!! my love as always has been!!!!!your friend g e z

  • woW....this is my favorite Frampton song.....not off the "LIVE" lp/ but rather the studio version...this version is interesting in that it combines facets of both...thereby making it unique!!!!!!

  • That is why Queen wrote Death On Two Legs is is about the sharks in the business

  • Heavy!! Great stuff.

  • All usual comments about Peter's talent aside - isn't the man looking WELL as in healthy. Truly amazing for his age compared to some of his age. Puts those 30 years younger to shame with regard to energy levels ... just love what this guy has done for guitar playing and rock over the years.

  • Oh I just love how this guy gets off. What great music too.In Lewiston,Maine where I grew up I burned out his double album.I still love him to death.

  • Just guessing he meant Don Arden { Sharon Osbourne's father} Arden ripped off so many artists during that era it's pitiful. I hope he's rotting in hell. He is a major reason artists like Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane died poor. The guy was pure scum.

  • I think he was referring to Dee Anthony, who ripped him off for something like$800,000 - a nice chunk of change in the 70's. Anthony also conned PF into signing on for the Sgt. Pepper's movie. Frampton was leery, but Anthony said Paul McCartney was involved and had requested PF play Billy Shears. Which he found out, to late, was Bullsh!t. The movie was universally reviled, pretty much killing Frampton's career.

  • By the way Dee Anthony also boned Steve Marriott.

Marriott had threatened to sue Anthony, Humble Pies manager, for unpaid royalties. Anthony arranged a meeting to discuss the matter. When Marriott got there , John Gotti and Paul Castellano were also present. Marriott was informed he was mistaken, he would not be receiving any money, and it would be in his best interest not to pursue the matter...Poor bastard couldn't catch a break.

  • Thanks Fishy.

Any articles or reference links on this would be appreciated big time, for our loyal audience (I'm not trying to be anal about it. I'm genuinely interested in the ins and outs of this aspect of the business). Cheers!!!

  • 12stringsforme, he mentions that some guy ripped him off big time. I'm wondering what happened.

  • I don't know Frampton's life story in detail or what may have happened. I do know the music business is full of sad stories of artists being exploited or robbed.

  • And that is why i could give a rats ass to all of the suffering the music big wigs are experiencing now with the decline of CDs and the increase in online downloads or MP3s. They spent their lives and careers fucking over all of the talent on their rosters. Withholding payments for songs and royalties on and on. So for them to get a dose of their own medicine?. Looks good on them. Let the fuckers suffer!!

  • I guess it's no surprise the music business is run like Hollywood. Sharks and exploiters who play god with the artists. You have to be tough and smart to negotiate those waters. I have to admire Jimmy Page for knowing exactly how to do that.

  • @12stringsforme That's because it's all run by accountants and owned by companies like Coke a Cola.

  • @roquefortfiles It's reasons like that that make me say Prince is sort of a hero to me giving the big F .U. to the record label by changing his name to a symbol . I remember EMI immediately tried to sue Talk Talk ,after they left the label -Stating that their last LP couldn't be sold . Case thrown out of court . Talk Talk continued making LP's with another label and EMI put out a remix of their music without permission . Talk Talk sued , and as far as I know won the case.

  • Wonder who ripped him off?

  • What do you mean?

  • He sounds better every time I hear him. Nobody like him.

  • The energy between Peter and 2nd Lead is as good as I've ever seen...PETER KEEP ON ROCKIN!!!!!

  • Frampton and the band Increibles!
