@Cazz8203 Back then even network executives didn't think kids were damaged in the brain; you could handle a lot of good old violence in your cartoons. The only things really banned from cartoons were realistic guns and gore, and actual killings, characters could die from an explosion saving someone for example, but you'd be hard pressed to find a villain being actually effective.

@otakon17 The 90's were a batshit insane (or, in the spirit of the decade, the most XTREEEEME!) decade for sure. There were Mortal Kombat and Aliens toylines. That's right, your kids can enjoy playing with H.R Giger's phallic, sex and death inspired aliens!
