I never spoke to the wins and losses, but specifically addressed that by pointing out the nature of the hits he's taken that have sidelined him- not to mention he threw a game winning touchdown with a sprained shoulder. If you want to make this about him being a 'winner' then argue with someone else, but don't misrepresent what I said.

He's survived playing behind Detroit's O-line (and I mean literally survived. I think if someone like Brad Johnson, or Byron Leftwich was back there, they would literally have their lives ended by Julius Peppers, Jared Allen, or Clay Matthews).
He became a genuine leader on his team as a rookie, because of his toughness.
Plus, like I said, that game-winning drive against the Browns is how legends are born.

In case you didn't notice, the only receiver they had past Calvin Johnson was Brandon Pettigrew. Both Calvin Johnson and Brandon Pettigrew got hurt last year. Bad blocking and no receivers will make ANYONE look like shit.
Just ask Marc Bulger, Drew Beldsoe, or Donovan McNabb about that.
As for the ages of Tom Brady and Brett Favre, 34 isn't really that old, for a quarterback, and Brett Favre is just a freak of nature.

I was referring to Bledsoe's tenure with the Bills and Cowboys, where he got shipped out for JP LOSMAN, and benched for Tony Romo. As for Mcnabb, I was talking more about the O-line has now that he left Philly :p
Besides, Stafford is presently injured. He'll get his job right back once he's healthy. I don't think there's anyone who thinks Shaun Hill is a legitimately better QB then Stafford :P

@ChargersLVII Shaun Hill isn't terrible. He tries to force the ball too much. Bledsoe was old. After he got his arteries severed by Mo Lewis, He should have retired right there. And Philly's O-line isn't necessarily bad, Look how well Michael Vick's played. Bledsoe Played good with buffalo. is one year he had like 4000+ yards.

He's not terrible, but I still think Stafford is the future in Detroit, and if they keep building around him, and Calvin Johnson (and just make up their mind on a starting running back, because they seem to draft a new one every couple years), they could be a playoff team pretty soon. Maybe not this year so much, but soon. I mean that Washington's O-line has made McNabb look average this year. Except John Runyan (at times), they did a good job protecting him in Philly.

His team had a very strong team last year. As for Matt, he had Calvin, triple covered Calvin at that. A line that would collapse very soon. A defense that would make plays, but lose the lead when they had it, RBs that I felt could of done allot better. And he still set the rookie record for most passing yards as a rookie.

Stafford is a big time player. All Detroit needs is some blocking 'cuz they can be a scoring machine they also need the running game to pick it up only gaining 1,616 yards on the ground in 2009 put to much pressure on Matt. The defense also needs to step it a notch or two. I'm a UGA fan so I know what a jewel the Lions have in Stafford. Protect him and you win win...
