All depends on the Fort you go to. Fort Benning is the hardest, they will absolutely not show mercy there. They are Infantry. Also after basic they only get 2 days off until they begin AIT, which is done in the same Fort.
Marines are connon fodder, The main reason you see so many "JOIN THE MARINES" comercials is because all the marines are dying and we're running out. BUT HEY! As long as your serving America, who gives a fuck which branch you join... right!?

Yes, the 13B training is at Fort Sill Oklahoma. So you'll go to Basic training at one of the five BCT posts and then head over to Oklahoma for AIT.
