  • how much?

  • Seriously, do NOT waste your money on this camera - you'll be buying batteries for it like you've never done before. It takes okay pictures, but it has one HELL of an appetite for batteries. Tried standard AA's ... rechargeable 'digital' batteries ... all of them. It is STUPID BAD on batteries.

  • @cosmotcat I agree.

  • this camera is horrible. it eats up batteries in only 15 pictures and 2 minutes of video!!!! has horrible image stabilization, and very bad indoor and low light quality. the only think this camera does well is take vibrant pictures outside.

  • @myNEONCITY I agree, you can get better for your cash.

  • @carlheanerd oh yeah u can. I am looking into a canon or fujifilm those two performed well in the store but I will still need to look up reviews

  • Whats the average price for this one?

  • @MetalMusicProvider

i got mine on 11/18/08 and it was $179

  • battery heats up very quickly, video extremely shakey, returning mine

  • how much?

  • amazon have it for £111

  • i have a question for you

how do you upload you videos since they are wav files and it wont let you edit it on widows movie maker or anything

please reply back i need help

  • They are in .Mov Quicktime format. I edit on the Mac, so no converters are needed. By the way, WMM sucks in comparison to prettymuch every other editor on the planet.

  • what do you need to download

  • WMM doesn't suck for me. :)

  • what do you need to download for that

  • Pazera mov to avi converter; it is a free download and it will convert .mov files to .avi or .mpg . Convert to .mpg for WMM.

  • Seems like the people buying this camera are the weak link. Seriously, before you just buy a camera, unbox it and start to shoot, please actually take a look at the instruction manual, and if you dont feel like taking a weekend course on how to shoot better pictures then at least look up a site on the net that gives some pointers on picture taking. About 90% of the problems you have described could have been avoided with some educated buying and snapping.

  • The camera is a box with a hole in it. YOU supply the magic. I have NO problem with this camera.

  • kodak's are shiit

  • Actually in comparisons I did w/ point and shoots for a project, I found Kodak's point and shoot compact's stood out with less image noise and better color accuracy. Now, I cannot account for superzooms.

  • lol. i no your trying to tell me somthing but i dont no what 1 word u sayed to many scientific words :P ino kodak is not bad bad but.. some cameras gotta really improve.. they mostly there all like pixles

  • this camera is shit. i wish my mom would listen to me and not the fucking guy at best buy it has so many options that half the pictures i fucking take are shit quality. if you have an suggestions for taking better pictures with this camera please help

  • If you want studio quality pictures, don't use a point and shoot.

  • the biggest piece of crap i ever bought . after i took about 20 pictures the batteries were dead and half the pictures were unusable because they were blurry or had a lot of noise. the video feature is a joke you would be sick to your stomach watching it because it was so shaky. I took maybe a grand total of 100 pictures with this camera and went through 6 sets of batteries. maybe i just got a bad one. looking forward to my canon to arrive

  • If one would research the camera, one would find that getting the 2600mAh rechargeable batteries solves the battery problem that most novices are seeing. This is not a 2mega pixel camera. The images are large and it takes processing power to render these functions.

The video is simply an extra feature. U want stable video get a REAL video camera, not a photographic camera. In you HAVE to use this camera for video, get a tripod or learn to shoot with a stable platform. Steal this camera for $100

  • Well said it meeds my needs. On another note, I (ironically) upgraded to a Canon Rebel XS DSLR camera.

  • thanks 4 your help!!!!!! can i use a SD memory card??

  • Yes.

  • i have this camera and love it, but the only complaint i have is when its taking videos its extreamely shakey, but i got a tripod to solve that problem

  • u kno if theres any way to put it web-cam mode? thanks.

  • Like, to use it as a feed into your computer? You cannot.

  • coo, thanks

  • Yup! Any video that is from August 15 or more recent is shot with this camera (unless it is screen-capured). Oh, I am still ironing out HD settings, so pixelation isn't normally there.

  • i have a kodack easyshare camera it's 3 year's old now though it has no zoom and 3mp (i got it from the supermarket for 99 pound's it came with a printer and ink and a 3gb memery card) i really need a new one though is that one good?

  • It would kill what you have now and you'd be happy with it. I suggest doing research on sites like CNet to see what you really want! Thanks!

  • hi it look's like a wonderful camera but i wan't a dslr so i have been looking at a olympus e420 10mp(not very compact though)

  • hi have you got any vids on youtube recorded with this camera?

  • Hey i have qustion? What format does video record in? AVI, MP4EG, MP4 or what ever please help thanks!

  • It records in Quicktime .Mov format. Hope that helps!

  • Hey thanks for the info, Cant wait till i get it!

  • mpeg-4

  • i got one for christmas, excellent little camera.

P.s,....you used scissors to cut tape, wow, lucky you didnt cut yourself.

excellent informative video though, i rate it 5 out of 5

  • LOLz, I almost have the scars to prove it! And it is great for the price and the fact it is a point and shoot.

  • Cool, I have that camera =D

  • I'm getting it 4 Christmas! I tried it and it rocks! Grweat quality video and pics but the video has to be focused on one thing, you cant really move the camera a lot.

  • -.-

  • does it take good pics?

  • With a flash, they are usually great. With out, they can be a little blurry... It is good for a point-and-shoot.

  • Good for a compact point-and-shoot.

  • when viewing a video on this camera do u have to plug it into your computer in order to hear the sound on the video or can u hear it right on the camera??

  • No, there is a (rather quiet) speaker built in!

  • That type of Memory Card does it support! SD CARD?

  • It supports SD and SDHC.

  • does it comes with battery charger?

  • No. I recommend getting a Duracell unit, a rather larger one.

  • How long do the batteries last before having to recharge?

  • Hmm... I get maybe 250-300 pics... Not great but better than my older camera.

  • I'm going to get this camera

  • That's great! I'm sick and tired of my old web cam. It is a piece of crap. :-(

  • Schneider Kreuznach LOL...;-)

  • I didn't feel like annunciating properly, LOL.

  • Don't watch my unboxing vid...you'll see some really bad english ;-)

  • Do they make a Lithium Ion battery for the battery compartment or is it AA only?

  • Oh no, it is Lithium Ion, but in AA form factor.

  • Cool, Hope the camera helps you with your future vids.. I never really liked Kodak after my first camera of there's im more of a Canon man myself

  • I've heard good things about Cannon. I just don't like their camera design for consumer products. Also, I've never had a problem with Kodak before. Now, lets look foreword to some music stuff coming in the next few days, iMac review pt 2, and my gaming setup, plus much more!

  • YAY!!! More Setups!! and imac review!

  • Oh yeh!
