Penticton BC -- best Okanagan beaches

I was there this summer and it seems like the heavy partying and drugs has toned down quite a bit or moved else where because of all the cops at the beaches now. Don't think it's quite the same place as it was years ago. More family orientated.

penticton. one of the most beautiful places on the planet, but if your just dropping in for summer, and you dont mind not partying,,,, go to osoyoos, 20 or so clicks south. so uch more beautiful

i do live pretty close. you sound like u need to move to a small town. thats what its like in every city. all you do is complain about the crowded beachs n apperenly how violent it is and drunk youth? its like 1 of the nicest places 2 go surroundings r beautiful. nicest beaches in canada. osoyoos too. so be happy to be living somewhere where theres actally even all that shit there. u just dont know how to appreciate your surroundings. i would have killed to move there when i was 14.

i've been to that place with the ice cream/frozen yogurt so tasty i love Penticton i only go in the summer usually but its so much fun to go swimming. i love that peach stand on the beach haha. idk i just LOVE it there :cD

gam, we always camped at many different rv camps. I couldn't tell you the names of them anymore. My dad had an aunt and uncle there we visited when we would go there. When my son was little we started to go to the Wild Waves, or something like that. lol. I still have cousins there, as well. Haven't been there now in probably 15 years, or so.
