  • I have both Tolex and Tweed versions of this amp>I prefer the tweed version.I use an Ibanez Tube screamer.I also have a 1959Bassman RI,which I play when I want to disturb the neighborhood!LOL.

  • Blues Jr's are another great amp by Fender! I tried a Jensen C12N in one of my old, greenboard blues jr's and just didn't like it. Everyone has a different ear, but I do like Celestion vintage 30's and greenbacks in them. Old Fender Blackface Deluxe Reverb amps are my low-power fav. but I really like Blues Jr's for all aroundlow-power blues/rock and they are easy to lug around!

  • would u say this is good for like zeppelin, clapton, and just stuff like that

  • @JustinTube81 With a good overdrive/distortion pedal you could get some good Zep and Clapton tones with the Blues Jr. It's very accepting of effects pedals.

  • which one is better? tolex or tweed?

  • @WaLNuTBrEaKeR35 I'm partial to the tweed one. Truly the only difference is the Jensen C12N speaker.

  • @OneMinuteOnly I have both amps. The tweed has much nicer reverb and makes a lot more gain. The tolex one has much more clean headroom and seems to accept distortion/drive pedals alot better. You need both, lol

  • @OneMinuteOnly Let's not forget also how much better tweed looks than black tolex.

  • nice tone and playing!, i got a modded fender blues junior, i'd appreciate it if you would check my only vid out!

    thanks
