bama's record over the last 5 years isnt too good when you take away these last two years, i believe from 2003-2006 they were 26-24, so saban was technically recruiting for a struggling program, but recruiting is saban's strength, he loves recruiting and developing players, thats why he came back to college....i think tcu is legit though, ive only see a few minutes of games here and there, havent really seen the offense, but the defense looks stout....i believe theyre legit...unlike boise state

None of the other conferences will let them in because they are scared of getting their asses handed to them by TCU. Take the Big 12. Baylor as pathetic as they are, the only reason they got in to the Big 12 was because Anne Richards was Govenor when the SWC went defunct and threatened to get legislation passed that would have prevented any team in TX joining the Big 12 if they didn't let Baylor in. Obviously she was an Alum of Baylor. But, TCU deserves to be in the Big 12 over Baylor.

That's your opinion. TCU could hang a probably beat all three teams you named plus they are stocked deep at just about every position on both sides of the ball. In addition, they are considered the quickest team on both sides of the ball as well. And believe me speed will beat you 70-75% of the time. There isn't any team in any BCS conference or other conference period that has the speed TCU clearly has and every sports analysts will tell you the same thing.

And let me pass along this final tid bit. If TCU's recruiting is so bad why did a UA aircraft fly to Fort Worth in 2001 and pay TCU $3 million dollars in order to steal Dennis Franchione to coach at Alabama? Answer that. I'll tell you why, because the University of Alabama recognized the fact that TCU had a great recruiting program and they wanted some of it so they could finally have a winning season. However, TCU got the last laugh on that little charade.

Well recruiting doesn't mean shit if you don't have the coaches and TCU certainly has the coaches. And if TCU can reach a #4 national BCS ranking with the recruiting they are doing I would say they are doing a damn better job than Alabama considering Alabamas record over the last 5 years compared to TCU's. Normally I don't waste my time arguing with 23 year old shit for brains who are half my age and still don't have anywhere near the education I have but I made an exception in your case.

Its sad that there isnt a playoff system cuz it would be TCU vs UF in the title game. Don't wain just yet. I don't think Florida can run or pass on TCU like they have against other SEC opponents. Now, consider this, either Alabama or Florida is going to have a loss this weekend. And Texas may very well lose to Nebraska. If that happens, TCU may very well slide into the BCS Championship against either Alabama or Florida which I think they can beat, either team. Also, Cinn may very well lose to Pitt this weekend.

In addition, TCU has been receiving a lot of press as the best Cinderella team in the nation in a long time and since the Fiesta Bowl Rep's have really been talking it up plus the fact that Congress is not happy with the BCS system, the BCS is under a lot of pressure to clean up their act. Believe me, the BCS does not want the Fiesta or Sugar Bowls to upstage their Championship game and may very well pick TCU, over TX if they loose or over the loser of the SEC championship game.
