The fact that gas prices went so high is what caused all this crap in the first place. If people didn't have to choose between paying their credit cards and mortgages or getting to work, this would not have happened. It all comes down to oil. Pre 911 gas prices were affordable, post 911 not so much. It is funny to me how we were'nt hearing about any gas crisis before but after 911 oh hell China India and other third world countries were just sending us to hell with their booming economies.

You can't fight an expensive war AND cut taxes for the RICH simultaneously without sending the U.S. economy into the tank. That is economics 101, I guess George Bush missed that class. Bush destroyed the country by following Republican economic theory of deregulated financial markets. His SEC chairman, Chris Cox could have prevented the meltdown by just paying attention. Alan Greenspan could have prevented the crisis also. But they are ideologues just like Bush and foolishly believe that markets are inherently moral and regulate themselves. Barrack Obama. Cong. Barney Frank also resisted many, many calls by Bush to regulate. Bush saw what was coming and tried to stop it to no avail.

Inflation would be the end result, cost of goods and services going up. wages would go up weaking the dollar.. watch Oil and when Oil goes down the dollars value goes up compared to other monitary systems. same in the opposite direction.. thats because its based upon our dollar.. which is what alot of people think is the cause of the Iraq war. The one constant? Congress. 79 members of congress have served 36 or more uniteruptd. Since 1964, the reelection rate for congress has never fallen below 85%, and has fallen below 90% once since 1976. If you want change, change your congrssmen and women, regardless of party!

The fact that gas prices went so high is what caused all this crap in the first place. If people didn't have to choose between paying their credit cards and mortgages or getting to work, this would not have happened. It all comes down to oil. Pre 911 gas prices were affordable, post 911 not so much. It is funny to me how we were'nt hearing about any gas crisis before but after 911 oh hell China India and other third world countries were just sending us to hell with their booming economies.
