all i can say is i wish it were mine ! looks great ! sounds great ! with a 9.28 et time to boot ! anyone not loving this ride is just plain ignorant or green with envy !
I think it looks good, to those who are anal about originality sure it might look horrible but i like a good mix of original and custom, the rims are great for it, i would have painted it black myself (i know, they never came in black that year, cry me a river LOL) i love the Butler Pontiac motors, i would have done an aftermarket seat that resembles the original seats but is thoroughly modern, then again id be using it for a more street application than what this was meant for, no nitrus either
still a shame to see a firebird so modified, the shaker looks so fake, doesn't realy work apperently? the wheels look terrible, and the interior in trans am's were so beautiful, its a shame to see it so butchered. good body work done, nice engine, and even dash. The car looks good at a distance, but looking at it, its just a turn off.
It was mentioned that the hood was from Glasstek? I need one and could not find a shaker hood listed for the early Firebird/Trans Am. Was the hood you guys aquired a normal one where you guys punched the shaker hole? Yea, any help would be spiffy! Oh btw, awesome car! I'm doing the same with my '71 Espri.
suspension technology is so awsome for these cars i dropped mine 2 in all around and put sub-frame connectors on it and damn it handles so much better
Bad, just bad to the bone.

racecardriver467 3 years ago
This car took almost a year to build... don't let the videos fool you. There has been ALOT of time in this car to get it dialed in.
V8TV 3 years ago
@V8TV I think he's saying for normal people who aren't rich 1 year to finish something like this would be a pipe dream.

Nice power, but I think it's a shame to do modding to a rare TA,save it for the Chebby malibu's.
Stock rules,pro touring sucks.
olztyln 3 years ago
This isn't a real TA... it's just a plain Firebird. No real Trans Ams were hurt during this build!

Oh,ok,I apologise
