There is a fairly obvious problem with Divine Command Morality. It is that it would be impossible to distinguish "God's Command" from a delusion in the mind of a madman since God does not broadcast his commands. Too often the interpretation of God's will is left to deluded power seekers of one sort or another. For good people to do evil things, that takes religion " Steven Weinberg
Divine command destroys all claims of morality - given the fact that there is no god present just claims of god. So, anyone claiming they are obeying god is always right regardless of what they are doing. I find such a notion detestable!
I have read this rule against cooking milk and meat , and it is this simple"do not cook an animal lamb or calf in its own mothers milk." Seems reasonable.
All I can say is if "therefore, if God issues you a command to do something that becomes your moral duty and it would be wrong for you not to do it" is scary.... very very very scary. If that is the essence of morality according to the Bible, then I for one want nothing to do with it. Such a system is, despite what the video says, certainly arbitrary, for if "[God] simply acts in accordance with his nature", his action is, by definition, arbitrary and calling it "just" or "good" is meaningless.
The depth of our depravity and sin is seen in direct ratio to the Pride that we exhibit. When as men we can think that we can judge a situation, circumstance, person/people and that our consciences, moral/ethical standards are higher or better than God's - YHVH's - we display the first and ultimate sin - PRIDE ... that is why God is The Judge and not us ... for we are still in the process of 'being made perfect' ... Praise YHVH - The Great I AM - He can be trusted - for He is Truth ....

One of the biggest obstacles for atheists who know the Bible not to believe God is that they think God has committed atrocities
