HOLY CRAP I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Sound Only comes on when You Open you program that you got when you got your PVR It is SWEEET!!!
I had the same problem yesterday. Took me the whole day. Get your remote and menu...find a reset button. It resets your TV to its original default setting. My TV will turn off by it self and restart. You will have to set your favourite settings again but that is easy. You get your audio back. Make sure if you are using HDMI , set the TV's HDMI output to "digital". hope that helps.

I have just bought white hdmi cabel on a 42 plasma tv. i did everything but i have a audio problem. there is no audio, but sometimes when i i did something with the tv controller it works and sometimes it works by itself. SO PLEASE DUDE HELP ME!! I REALLY NEED TO PLAY SOON!! but when i quit the hdmi cabel, i got the audio so please tell me whas the problem as soon as u can!!! u rock btw ! max hdmi on my tv is 1080i
You wonder why your crap doesn't work, why would you buy a playstation off of ebay? If you want a good playstation you buy it directly from SONY only.
@GuyaneseUnDaGrounD Not true at all. Not all people that sale or resale ps3's on ebay are dirtbags. I happen to fix and resale ps3's on ebay. Although I only buy ps3's with bad lasers and just swap the lasers out and resale - we are not all scum and lie but it does happen. If he bought it for 230 he got robbed and should have filed a claim with paypal and ebay, and he would have gotten his money back.
Respond to this video... A good ps3 on ebay is generally around 100 cheaper than factory new and in most cases are simple issues repaired like bad lasers or broken drive. check out my store to see good ps3's for cheap o and check my feedback 100% positive I dont sell junk!
