  • im 11 this is sad i cant baleve i havto watch this waaaaaa

  • I couldn't help but find that absolutely adorable. All the barracuda's I've ever seen were friggen huge so it's nice to know that they were small and young once, too.

  • sheesh people, all this talk of EVILNESS, arent fish not smart enough to feel pain? along with insects. :/

  • @linkplaya pain is not about intelligence, it's a biological response. Even plants feel a form of pain.

Besides that, who are we to say what is and isn't "intelligent"?

  • @coricat07 plants don't have a nervous system and thus can't feel pain of any form.

  • @aorolecall Actually numerous tests were done and plants infact can feel pain, and a recent study conducted showed that plants actually feel fear before you cut/tear off a leaf/flower/branch.

  • @breathvictorian1 hurrrda DERP DERP

  • @aorolecall Intelligent response, shows you know nothing about the topic you were trying to argue about.

  • @breathvictorian1 thats what she said

  • @coricat07 Because we defined and created the word intelligent.

  • i want one of those where di u get it?

  • EPIC BATTLE!

  • yOURE sICK

  • What size tank do you have for it when it is full grown?

  • @ryank289 I just gave an example of the dimensions down there but this is what the fellas gona want

    youtube.com/watch?v=KDEfNALbV6w&feature=fvst

its gona be expensive and its gona have to be custom made, you're not gonna find this shit at walmart.

  • I agree taht would be awesome to see nemos mom

  • thats a pike not a barracuda!

  • @martingauba : it looks like one!

  • @martingauba is indeed a barracuda, stupid person #1.

looks like either a sawtooth or a blackspot.

  • @martingauba ur a faggot its a fresh water barracuda dumbass

  • @doberman13467 THERE ARE NO FUCKING FRESHWATER BARRACUDA!

  • @martingauba thats a barracuda u dumbass u can tell

  • @martingauba

    it is an Acestrorhynchus...(freshwater barracuda)

  • @martingauba I agree with you. This is a fresh water tank. Barracuda lives is saltwater.

  • dude where did u get that i want one

  • what will you do when it gets bigger? donet they grow to like one meter?

  • @eljorge22

As it grows, its tank and feed must too. He'll make the necessary preparations then if he hasn't already. This one should grow to 1.5 meters MAXIMUM, putting its maximum tank dimensions at 2m x 3m x 4m or 600+ gallons. But getting this big will take almost all its 15 year life span (also shortened by being in captivity). Feed will get bigger and more expensive as it grows.

Goldfish, Shrimp, Baby Koi, Pinkys, Rat Pups, Grown Koi, Mice, Rats, Live Trout, Rabbits, then Piglets.

  • I hate barracuda's, they killed nemos mom! LOL

  • @aliahaliah: I thought that's a pike!

  • @vass109 Naww, from the appearance it looks like a barracuda.

  • @aliahaliah

    Made my day

  • @aliahaliah Barracudas are delicious! I like to fry them and serve them with yellow or white rice and vegetables. It is very nutritious and healthy!!!

  • @Raydel75 I have never tasted a barracuda. I'll keep that in mind.

  • @aliahaliah

It is ok, this is fresh water

  • @aliahaliah that was a tiger shark budd

  • @goonclown11 No..I'm pretty sure it's a barracuda.

  • @goonclown11 A WHaaaaaat? :P (JAWS)

  • @aliahaliah yea what fags

  • @aliahaliah OMFG YOUR RIGHT GET THAT SON OF A BITCH >:D

  • Hi I just bought a rocket gar at 5 inches almost a week ago and he ate some shrimp on the second day I bought him, them a feeder on like the 3rd or 4th, and now nothing. All he seems to do is charge at the glass like hes stressed or retarded or something.

Please PM me if you have some segestions thanx

  • @carsondaswampdweller sometimes people don't empathize with their animals enough. when you're new it takes a while to feel comfortable, so have patience. if you're full or don't like your food; you wont eat. try different TYPES of feeders. if your air isnt clean you might act strangely. so check the temperature and pH of the water to be sure it's ok for your gar. if its light all the time you can't sleep. if its dark all the time you cant see. make sure you give your gar both light and dark.

  • @carsondaswampdweller I had some trouble with my half-beak doing the same thing. The thing is, if its a male, it is charging at the glass, seeing his own reflection and thinking it's a rival gar intruding on his territory.

  • that 's a little pike i think

  • @gabrielebra75 : yeah! ur right!

  • Everyone if you think this is evil go ahead and flag :D

  • @animalloveratp why do you do this to people? it doesnt matter WHERE that barracuda was it would have eaten that fish weather it grew up in a tank or in the great barrier reef. all you tree-hugging, soy-pushing, carrot-fucking, melba-toast-munching, tofu-jiggling retards need to just lay the fuck off and let people do their own thing.

  • @critterchik it was going good till i remembered thats a fresh water baracuda

  • @animalloveratp Mhm, so this is evil huh? How exactly is it evil? Its a barracuda, which happens to be carnivorous, eating another fish, which is what would happen in nature, along side the fact that a barracuda needs larger food the bigger it gets, so fish food ain't gonna cut it. 'Oh but he put it on the internet.' Yeah, so what? The title said it all, so why did you click on it? 'He didn't give the goldfish a chance.' Do you think that goldfish(0.85 mph) could out swim a barracuda(27 mph)?

  • I flagged

  • @animalloveratp, why? This happens all the time in nature and you Butt hurt cunts at PETA cannot change this

  • lolz the goldfish is wiggling himm.... not funny tho

  • NICE 5/5

  • Comment removed

  • dont those grow to be huge?

  • they can grow up to 70 cm and i think thats in inches like 16" - 19"

  • @MrMMABoy oh i guess nemo made barracudas look really big :D

  • what ? its a gold fish

  • @XxSydneyTimexX lol this fresh water, the other baracudas grow huge so u cant keep them in a tank

  • I'm thinking or getting a barracuda, what size tank do they need?

  • om nom nom nom

  • were did u get that it co cool

  • This is not funny

  • Funny thing is. If people see (bigger) piranha's eating a (bigger) goldfish then in this video. They rate it 1/5.

For this video, they rate 5/5 cause the fish are little.

    Funny! xD

  • Zmup ur exactly right they Say thats cruel to do And yet when its something small and seems insignificant They say its :Awesome Funny COOL! XD

  • that is a small ass barracuda and a small goldfish

  • awesome!!!

  • I want a barracuda!!!

  • Well they gotta eat

  • aww..... hes so cute

  • How did u change his water when he got big? Im thinking of buying fresh water sharks but they get big so how u chang it without them biting u?

  • @pavy415 - freshwater sharks will not bite you, none of them have any form of sharp teeth. even if they do, it just feels like sandpaper.

  • @LayZtheSOXROXER really last time i saw a shark rainbow they were bitting threw the glass tank and i was like o dam imagine them big

  • @pavy415 rainbow sharks? they don't have teeth. who cares if they bite you.

  • the bullshark native to southern australia, is known to swim into freshwater to lay eggs, many attacks reported b/c of this

  • you are right, but that is a rare case of when a salt water animal has adapted to survive in freshwater for long periods of time. when bullsharks make it to adulthood, most of them head out to the ocean since its more ideal for them. the bullshark is still considered a marine shark. fresh water sharks are all minnow-like, the rainbow/red tail shark for example, or related to catfish, like iridescent sharks and paroon sharks. none of those have sharp teeth.

  • Whats the difference with the salt water one and this one? I know he will not get 6 feet long but other than that what is differnt?

  • nice fish

  • not actually a barracuda as in those huge ones in the oceans thats just what ppl call them. It's either the african or south american one.

  • is that even legal to own

  • ok bennovitz one that is a barracuda i have 3 so shut the fuck up u have no idea what ur talkin about..

  • actually bennovitz is right. if the 3 fish you have are freshwater than they are guaranteed to not be actual barracudas. we just nickname them as "freshwater cudas". but more than one species are called fresh cudas, the whole Acestro family are also called cudas, and so are chorros. certain pikes too. like this one here. all freshwater "substitutes" for owning an actual cuda (which grows over 6 feet... so obviously impossible to house for its whole life unless ur rich)

  • sure looks like a Hepsetus Odoe - and that is not a Barracuda

  • hahah i wish i had a piranah or barracuda

  • lol

  • It's not a true barracuda it's from South America and is found in the Amazon River. It's freshwater and is not rare in the aquarist hobby and only get's around 9 in. or so.

  • that is a very tiny baracudda

  • how is a barracuda in fresh water??

  • I feed my 4 Red Belly Piranhas mice

  • that... was a bit sad... why not feed it a dead fish? thats what i do with my parrahnas. and btw WHERE DID U GET THAT I WANT IT!

  • barracudas respond more to prey thats actually moving. if its just staying in one spot, it doesnt really try.

  • if you got redbelly piranhas, its their nature to be scavengers and eat dead fish. Barracudas and their relatives are different and only eat moving prey. its just in their instinct. they will refuse pellets and inanimate food up until the point that they die so trust me, you don't want to do that to this beautiful fish.

  • that's going to get BIG sooner or later

  • hahahahahahahahhaahahhahaha thats funny

  • @Cherrypop1194

    thats a mini

  • WHERE IS THE BLOOD??

  • where did u get a baracuda

  • i protest :D ... why did you put that monstar in that aquarium??? infact how was barracuda remain alive even in the fresh water. because barracuda is a salt water fish.

  • you can get special salt and put it in your aquarium

  • Is that a Acestrorhynchus falcatus/ a Red Tail Barracuda? If so there a freshwater species from the Amazon River in South America. There not rare at all.

  • omg its so cute (the baracuda lol)

  • thats goin to get big

  • i thought it would be bigger...

  • thats what she said

  • LMFAOOOO!!!!!!!

  • that was just asking for it hahhahaaa

  • @cyberspy034 lol very nice

  • wil it get along with a lungfish and 2 spotted gars? or should i place it in my other tank with a small giant snakehead and a bichir?
