I was researching the Chinesse Tallow Tree for syn gas conversion. You dehydrate the methanol and it turns into a diesel substitute. But in a 2011 study is references the black soldier fly and red worm conversion. If you happen to check this link and go to page 11 it is interesting. Your Worm bin looks good. I tried growing strawberries. Had to go to plan C. Bought actual plants that have green leaves. Not the ones that come in bags packed in peat moss.
@Allen2045 Hi, thanks! Ya, I had to buy plants as well, my indoor aquaponics system was too young to support plants with little light so I lost most of the plants. I do like how low the amount of work is required to use this bin.

We have just found a cheap source of cheap IBC's so might give this a go soon... Will make feeding the Fish, Yabbie & Chook cheaper...
We are looking at making a BSF farm as well out of a 44Gal/200L drum...

Do you have a ramp for the bsf larvae to crawl out, or how do you harvest them?
My worm bin is full of them and I want to feed some to my chickens.
