  • He looks like a bully

  • Kevin looks like a bully :D

  • I can't believe it's been almost 13 years...

  • I know a song dedicated to this shooting. It kicks ass.

  • They should have targeted the authorities.

  • @bullets632

    Agreed.

Only after the fact did they make some sort of "tactic" to prevent shit like this. I believe eric and Dylan had a point to prove and they did with great success. I don't agree that it was the best way to do it, but in the end people learned. At that school at least.

If anyone says they are going to fuck shit up at school, we'd better fucking listen. But did we? No, several more happened after columbine.

    Rip

    Eric Harris

    Dylan klebold

  • I still partially blame the law enforcement, because as many officers as there were on the scene none of them went in the school. Tell me this how can you just sit and and listen to multiple high school students getting slaughtered? Are you fucking kidding me, a six man swat team there were believed to be eight gunmen at first. They entered on the other side of the school from the shooters. When the finally found the deceased gunmen it was already way to late.

  • @Bullets632 I'm guessing you expect them to act like they do in the movies? Just kicking down doors and hailing fire onto the killers?

Give me a break, they don't know who the killers are or where they are.

  • @IceYourPimpHand still from the day they took the badge they swore to protect and serve, no one could of prepared them for this but they are trained in the basics of combat... think about it if one officer decided to put his life down and go in more would do the same... what if one officer went in before the shooters made it in the library???much more lives would of been saved...i still blame the law enforcement the kids rescued them selves because no body else would

  • @Bullets632 They don't know where the library is, they didn't have a map of a very large school.

When they heard gunshots, they'd move towards the direction of the sound, but when it stopped, the killers could had been in any room. These types of situations are much more complicated than it seems, they had to go to every room one by one, bringing out all the hiding children, and the school had 2 thousand students.

The death rate could had been much worse if it wasn't for the police.

  • @IceYourPimpHand ya with a six man swat team with multiple entrances but before that the school officer laid eyes on the gunman after they already began and watched them enter the only thing the police did was call medical assistants and formed up a ccp other than that what do you mean the death rate could of been worst? the police had nothing to do with it the gunmen finished there rampaged and killed themselves still with as many officers there were on the scene they could of done a lot more

  • @Bullets632 The killers and the police exchanged fire multiple times, what the hell are you talking about? Giving the opportunity they would had gladly put a bullet in the two assholes.

I'm guessing you're a kid and you don't know how these kinds of operations work, but if you were in the SWAT team and you were given a gun, you wouldn't hall your ass in the building and go on a savage man hunt, you'd be strategic, if they followed your rules a good number of the police would be dead

  • @IceYourPimpHand SWAT is not my profession but i am some what familiar with their tactics but before SWAT arrived police had the building surrounded with in minutes just about the whole department were there you see one of the biggest question after the shooting was why the police didn't interfere much sooner? now they have it where if something like this comes up again they will be inside the building within minutes, at columbine they were clueless and unsure about it lack of decision making

  • The Columbine police department failed big time. The SWAT team took forever to clear the school.

Harris and Klebold were evil cowards.

  • Comment removed

  • OMG! its Kevin! I remeber he wanted to beat up Dylan and threatened to kill him.

  • policeman are fucking useless in the country its every man for themself now a days.

  • Anyone who is interested in REALLY finding out abt Columbine, please don't rely solely on Dave Cullen's wee novel. There are so many things wrong w/ that book...but hey, Cullen would never let the truth get in the way of a good story, right? Please, just read over the evidence and read books by people who were actually there, or at least had some tie w/ the school/shooters themselves. Did Davey interview any of the shooters closest friends??

  • The students saved themselves. The authorities did nothing.

  • @hankthecowdog115 It was a policy bureaucracy thing. The officers wanted to enter but were told not to until swat arrived. Policy has been changed across the nation in dealing with active shooters since.

  • @hankthecowdog115 Are you that stupid? Do you have any idea what they have to do in this kind of situation? Did you know the police didn't have a map of the school? Are you aware of the size of the school? Are you aware they had to go to door to door looking for kids hiding, and the killers?

Pull your head out of your ass.

  • @hankthecowdog115 They changed the methods of dealing with massacres and school shootings after columbine. Now, swat teams or police are to make taking down the shooter the main priority, ignoring all wounded or injured.

  • the police disgraced themselves for all time at Columbine HS. They disgraced police in general, and so called SWAT in particular. I am not surprised, personally. I am more surprised when i read of police showing true valor. Uncommon valor is the exception and not the rule in USA police, in my opinion. they commonly open fire on unarmed person and then claim they were 'afraid for their life' to justify the killing. Judges rubberstamp the polie killing 'cause their power depends on cops.

  • Life for teenagers gets more violent every year...

  • What the police don't want you to know is that there was a door to the library that was open and the police could have walked right in and stopped the massacre but they didn't. They listened to those kids being murdered in the library on the 911 call teacher Patti Nielson made in the library and left on the ground to go hide when the shooters came in.

  • The police presence was building up yet not a single damn one of them entered the building til they felt it was safe for themselves to enter... This seriously shows how pointless the law enforcement can be. I thought their job was to risk their lives to protect others.

  • The cops fucked alot of these kids over. They didnt do shit. If eric and dylan didnt kill themselves they could hav took out everyone still in the school by the time help gt ther.

  • looked at this subject matter a lot as it was at the time a major shock to many , there seems to be too many things clouded and covered up , the fact is bullying was going on in this school as it does in every other school , dave Cullen was way off with his theories , read brooks brown book a lot more direct and too the point

  • the body being dragged was Mark Taylor

  • @XCandiceXD It was Rachel Scott. There's solid evidence everywhere if you look, including a testimony from her mother. All of the crime scene photos still have her body there where they dragged it on 4/21, which are available online if you know how to look. Same with Danny, though they didn't ever drag him. They moved Rachel twice. Once initially because they were stupid and then once again so students wouldn't have to look at her.

  • Oh, and one final word to anyone who's been keeping on up on this case. Alot of what Dave Cullen says in his book is absolute unfounded, made up, stretched, half-truth bullshit. Do not take everything he says in his book as fact. It is very clear he is out to make a buck off of the massacre rather than commit 100% to showing the absolute truth.

  • @john2earth I applaud you, good sir :) Finally someone has the cahones to call out Cullen.

  • (continued) Anyone who says otherwise is an absolute fucking idiot who needs to stop whatever the fuck they're doing, and research this case before they ever open their mouth on anything Columbine related. Stupid people who think they know shit pertaining to this case without ever even having done an ounce of research humor me. We can't change the past though so people need to get over it. Moral of the story: bullies need to be punished so this shit doesn't happen. /threadlock

  • Yes, it is true Eric and Dylan's rampage only lasted all of 50 minutes (40 more minutes following the outside exchange with the police officer), and yes they did commit suicide before the police entered the building, however, if the first policeman on the scene had chosen to pursue, many of the victims could've been saved that day.

  • (continued) This police officer opened fire on them. He was also outside the building. They in turn returned fire and fled through the doors inside the building. Although it is police protocol to call and wait for backup, this officer could have prevented many of the deaths which followed their shooting exchange outside, should he have decided to pursue them. Instead he, as well as the rest of the police department, decided to wait.

  • I'm going to clear something up right here, right now, for the so many stupid fucking idiots who see 3 minute coverage from the ever truth turning cess pool we call the media and immediately start drawing conclusions of what exactly happened like they have some basis of information to go off of. No, this could not have been prevented. However, it could have been ended early. During the earliest of the shooting, while both Eric and Dylan were outside, they were confronted by a police officer.

  • I love how craptastic their diagram is.

  • "Tell me how this has affected you."

What the hell kind of a question is that?

  • @SugarMountain15 He didn't seem to mind:

"Mr. Koeniger said he was pleased that Mr. Rather wanted to interview him. ''He was really cool,'' he said. ''He said he was sorry for what happened. He really cared. I wanted to talk. I wanted to tell the story of what happened to people who cared.'' (NYT, 1999-05-22)

  • is there any maps after the swat found all the bodies. i dont wanna see the actual bodies of people but just drawings of were there bodies lay.

  • @TBAKC yep, you can find it all of the jeffco county sheriff webpage. just google "columbine diagram" and eventually you'll find it. there is about 100 or so diagrams (not pictures) that walk through the whole time table. it's pretty disturbing though. You really need to read a timeline to fill in the details. You can use the one on wikipedia, but it's not prefectly accurate. but good enough.

  • @gaozhi2007 ok thank you im doing some research on this story.

  • wtf the bodies just stayed there 4 a day? thats fucked up.

  • watch?v=YCO0AN8PJmA&feature=related video of mark being dragged and him talking about it.

  • Enough of this "official story" by dan rather. I'd RATHER just hear the witness, [please!

  • at 0:10 , they dragged that guy who is now paralyzed near the fence, is that Rachel near the building? :(

  • if those bombs went off, my step-brother wouldn't be alive today.

  • @bumwrecker27 Did your stepbrother ever see Eric or Dylan?

  • @andrewvanrhoberts i never asked (its a touchy subject). he was in the cafeteria when the shooting started. truthfully, i didn't know there were bombs in the school until i started looking into it.

  • It's soooo easy to say how the swat-team are cowards in retrospect. But the truth is they didn't know what they we're dealing with. At the time schoolshootings wasn't the wellknown phenomenon it is today. Authorities were waiting for demands and development to avoid the potential massacre storming terrorists or kidnappers mean. I know it's hard to belive for you youngsters, but there was a time when you didn't automatically assume a random killingspree as soon as you heard gunfire.

  • @mjollner23 "We had initial people there right away, but we couldn't get in. We were way out-gunned" - Sheriff John Stone.

They didn't go in until half an hour after the shooting stopped. Cuz they were outgunned by two skinny teenagers.

  • @astreocclu My initial statement stands. They had no idea what they were dealing with. The quote is from the Sheriff, not the swat. He wasn't equipped or educated to storm a potential hostage-situation. Dylan and Eric had a semi-automatic carbine rifle and a 9mm Tec-DC9 semi-automatic pistol, sawed of shotguns and explosives. Hindsight is always 20/20. But in the chaos right then and there, they had no idea they were "only" dealing with two skinny teenagers who just decided to kill everyone.

  • SEEMS LIKE A FUN DAY, IM WONDERING WHAT I WAS DOING WHILE IT TOOK PLACE.. MAYBE EATING SOME?

  • "Within 20 minutes, SWAT team fucked up big time. Waiting for 3 hours to enter the building because they are so fucking pathetic that they can't take out 2 gunmen with shitty firearms while they have MP5A3s and Semi-auto pistols and shotguns. But oh well, they tried their best. Certainly a tragedy here today..." - Newsguy

  • Who's body was that at 0:08? Rachel Scott?

  • @311diamonddoll daniel rohrborough x

  • shit was so cash

  • this is such a tragedy...i dont bully people bcuz of this right here

  • 0:10 Is that a dead body? :-/

  • i saw on a columbine doco that it was richard castaldo that was being dragged to safety. Didn't they leave those who died until the next day?

  • @0zziefan i heard it was mark taylor----

  • what took the swat team so damn long to sweep the school that they were too late and found the shooters dead? Its like they just waited for it to be finished and THEN decided to go in. Just sick.

  • Angelflazz... WTF is your problem you sick sick fucking basterd?! You just don't care do you? Your idolizing a fucking massecure! God someone should shoot all your friends right on front of you and see how you like it!

  • Take a look at American society: its only 12 people, musch less then in virginia tech, but it more "popular" because it is all surrounded by mystery, and theres a lot of people blame on.

  • @Carthsting It's not surrounded in mystery, the virginia tech is more mysterious as Cho left no real motives behind.

  • @DalueCommentarys Exactly, but in Columbine everyone is seeking different motives for themselves.

  • it was rachel scotts body being dragged

  • sad ... yet the biggest tradgady

  • how r the shooters hero's?

  • why does it say the 21st? cuz like they fly over daniel rorbroughs body in the beginning so does that mean they let his body lay there for a whole day?

  • @chocolatehonkey That footage is from 4/20. The bodies were removed 4/21.

  • @TornFromTheMap That's interesting. I always have been told that Daniel lay there for two days before his body was removed.

  • @TornFromTheMap - Many reports said the bodies were removed at around 6 AM on the 22nd. I know CBS reported this, where was it said that they were removed on the 21st ? Who are the other bodies that can be clearly seen dragged by SWAT scum in other videos ?? Because they are surely not Daniel Rorbrough or Rachel Scott. We were NOT told that anyone else died outside were we ?? Are you coming at this from reality, or from that Dave Cullen "official" bullshit personified ??

  • @TornFromTheMap - Also, Daniel's father had to find out his kid was dead by seeing his body laying there in a newspaper report !!! That is how filthy the pigs and federal scum bags truly were to let those bodies lay there and not give one damn about rescuing these kids and informing the parents of what was really going on. This is why Daniel's father has sued JeffCo and continues to be the most awake and aware parent of the entire school. PIGS killed his son and we KNOW that !!

  • @chocolatehonkey I just read the book Columbine by Dave Cullen and yes his body did lay out.

  • @chocolatehonkey yea i did too i forgot it was awhile ago

  • @chocolatehonkey To your question Yes both bodies of Daniel and of Rachel we're left outside for 36 hours

  • wow at 0:08 there just dragging a dead body like its nothing , that made me upset.

  • @Cheevus yea thats messing with a crime scene to and you should like look that up thats part of like, this conspiracy

  • @Cheevus its the safest and fastest way to transport the body.

  • @Cheevus That would be Rachel Scotts body

  • @MaeliniValentine wow i didnt know that was her body either, makes matter's even worse just the fact that they waited until eric and dylan were done killing evryone is what pissed me off :/

  • @Cheevus He wasn't dead he was badly wounded.

  • @Cheevus that person is stone dead as you can see

  • @Cheevus well im guessing to those men that was nothing compared to what they saw inside. i mean iraq and afganistan are terrible places, but to see kids in school massacred with blood and brain matter eveywhere must be hard to forget. in times kike that you dont know if its over and cant honor the dead as they should be. its just upsetting that kids who probably didnt even know them got killed for no reason and i wish these 2went to some gang hq and just blasted away not a school filled w/ kids

  • @Cheevus yea its sad.. but true. thats Rachel Scotts body..

  • @Cheevus wasn't a dead body. he is alive to this day

  • @Cheevus i guess it must kinda sucks being dead

  • @Cheevus it wasn't a dead body it was a person who got shot and was crippled for life and in a interview he said them dragging them never made him so happy in his life knowing he was going to survive but the person he was sitting next to didn't survive

  • @FearlessFools you are wrong this is the wrong guy, they would not just drag a body and drop it like that if he was alive and injured, can clearly see other officers that could of aided the person if he was alive. Researched it and it said that person was presumed dead right away.

  • @Cheevus seriously dude its on a documentary i will find it and show you that its not a dead person it was a guy who got shot 8 times and is now disabled for life there was only 2 killed outside and one was a girl the other was a guy now if you watch the video of the guy who died outside you would know it wasn't in that position and secondly police cant move a dead body from a crime scene

  • @Cheevus ohh and one more thing you say they wouldn't drag a living person like that what about the dude out the window

  • @Cheevus that wasnt a dead body if u want the final report it was a student who jumped out the window that was shot in the head twice and they dragged him to safety.

  • @Cheevus watch*

  • @honeybun081702 i ment wow as in shock

  • @Cheevus

That wasn't a dead body, it was a paralyzed Richard Castaldo.

  • @DaSoulSlasher No that is Rachel Scott's dead body. If you researched it at all you would know. Richard had already been taken to the hospital at that time.

  • @atrocioussaints

Yeah I realized that a short while later hoping you wouldn't prove me wrong lol.

  • @Cheevus He is still alive.... :S

  • @Cheevus (from my knowledge) that wasn't a dead body, he was alive and they saved him. he was shot 4 times.

  • @Cheevus it wasnt a dead body it was a wounded person

  • @Cheevus It was in the midst of everything. That day everything was fast-paced.. they were trying to drag the wounded away and to safety.

  • @Cheevus That's Rachel Scott. She was placed over there after they realized she was dead. After SWAT had the students run out single file from the school, one of them went back to Rachel's body and moved it. According to him, he said that he felt bad and just couldn't leave that little girl laying on the ground like that. So he turned her on her belly and drug her behind the firetruck, out of view of other students.

  • @Cheevus I think thats Richard Castalldo

  • wtf, they say the swat team swept the school room by room, that's bullshit. they didn't even go in until Eric and Dylan were dead.

And so what, if they were scared?

if you're a police officer, you're supposed to risk your life to save others.

so the fact they just sat outside listening to a massacre, is bullshit. innocent children were being murdered and possibly if they would've gone in some lives could have been saved.

  • @ff5fr33k yeah mate sounds like the port arthur massacre......35 die and the sogs didnt even get to the scene until 5 hours later!!!! Wat the fuck!!!!!

  • @ff5fr33k Thank you for being a normal person and realizing this...They just wanted the cameras....Like they're a hero for standing outside waiting for the shooters to come to them...Yeah.

  • @ff5fr33k they didn't know if they were still alive or not, they had to take caution, they could have had hostages

  • @ff5fr33k Just like at Virginia Tech, an FBI agent ordered SWAT to stand down.

  • @ff5fr33k Yeah really. Where was Colorado's John Mclaine during this?

  • @ff5fr33k

I agree with you partially, but at the same time having dead officers inside the building wouldnt help anyone.

remember at the time they didnt know as much as we know now.

  • @ff5fr33k What makes me more angry is the doors to the outside of the library were wide open. The swat teams were not even 20 yards from those doors when eric and dylan entered the library. And yet they didnt do a damn thing about it.

  • @Radion561 seriously, what the hell is that? And then they pull Patrick out the freaking window??? Are these guys complete idiots? I mean the police would have seen all the students coming out the door around 12:40 when the killers left the library....so, yeah.

  • @ff5fr33k If they stormed the building they could make the body count worse. Students could have been hit by the boys bullets as well as the police. The fact is they did it by the book. By the book is not always "right" or "prompt" but if they didn't do it like that then everyone would be upset. SWAT teams plan for weeks when raiding a house, they have all the plans and exits blocked. This was a very large building and the SWAT team had nothing but the sound of gunshots to guide them.

  • @ff5fr33k Agreed. When seconds count, the cops are only minutes away.

  • Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, my heroes!

  • I hope you are joking. I have been doing research on these kids and i do respect them very much, but what they did was absolutely wrong

  • @AngelFlazz97 Why are they your heros? Have some respect for people. If you idoloize killers it would probably be best to keep it to yourself.

  • okay i just gotta point out... they said that in 20 minutes swat teams were sweeping the school.. that is a lie the police or swat never entered the school untill after it was over.

  • Yeah but the police tried to cover it up and bragging that they saved many kids that day but now we all know that that's a bunch of bullshit

  • Are they dragging Rachel's body at 0:08?

  • yes thats rachel as she was the only other person left out there which is pretty sad both her and Danny were left out there overnight

  • That's what I was wondering too
