  • @ALFAVILLIA Thanks for watching my video. No I don't think Elizabeth's voice was husky. She lowered it on purpose for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" but if you see interviews with her you notice she is rather softspoken, but had a short of shrill voice. IMHO.

  • Thank you Elizabeth love you forever. When I was looking her films her special energy I always felt in myself. And her face tells you many things, she has a spirit and you must believe to her when she act. So big talent and beauty. I admire to her.

  • @MySpring75 I admire her too. I'm so sad she's gone now. But thanks to her movies she will live forever.

  • Thank you very much and remember her as a little girl in films about Lesi she is fantastic. His talent shows when she was small. And I think that in those days nobody can be actress as she was. But she is still with us, isnt it. ?And I like that she was with Michael when it was difficult to him as real friend . Because many things people do not understand today and she head a lot experience in her life and she knows how difficult was to Michael for many times. Thank you Elizabeth for all

  • @MySpring75 Yes Elizabeth was such a beautiful little girl in the Lassie movies. Such a natural little actress who just instinctively knew how to act. Yes she will always be in our hearts. I also love that she stood by Michael. No wonder he loved her. She was truly unique. x

  • Thank you for everything we shall love you always. Rest in piece. She is one of the greatest actor ever.

  • @MySpring75 Thank you for watching my video. I agree with you.

  • This is Beautiful Karin, the best work that you have done.

  • This is Beautiful Karin, the best work that you have done.

  • More than Beautiful, Karin, the best work that you have done!!!!!

  • @richardbassett1956 Thank you Rich, I am glad that you think this is the best video I've ever made. I think the song is so appropriate for Elizabeth. She was a true actress in every sense of the word and a star, someone who could act with just her eyes...much love, x

  • Boom was a terrible moving but Elizabeth look absolutely stunning in it. Great job Karin! I think you forgot 1 movie the tv movie "There Must Be A Pony" which I think was made in the late 80s and co-starred Robert Wagner. She looked good in that one too

  • @GloveGirl I agree Elizabeth looked great in Boom. Actually no I didn't forget about "There must be a pony". The reason it's not in the tribute is because I haven't seen it yet...there's about 20 movies with Elizabeth that I am yet to see! :)

  • Boom was a terrible moving but Elizabeth look absolutely stunning in it. Great job Karin!

  • I love the line "still out there in the dark" the public will always love you, and wait for you Elizabeth.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta yes I agree, I wish Elizabeth had done more movies in the 1990s and 2000s. I think Hollywood really missed their chances with her. It's sort of sad how her movie career sort of just faded out... :(

Right now I don't think she's well enough to ever return to the screen. I'd be glad the day she's out of the hospital though...

  • @Karsch100 I know, it's such a shame. I guess it's a combination of Hollywood ageism and maybe some resentment on how she just lived by her rules on Hollywood's part, I don't know. 20th century Fox didn't give her anything after Cleopatra basically, could it be they were resentful at all the money they spent? and they were punishing her? I don't know, but it wasn't her fault, it was theirs. She should've had a longer career, same with Faye Dunaway for instance, it's all hijacked by Meryl Streep.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta I think it was mostly just Hollywood's ageism that stood in the way. Elizabeth Taylor did do a lot of great movies after Cleopatra too...and yes that it became so expensive was not her fault but the studios!

Still I agree with you about the Meryl Streep comment, she is a good actress but not really in the league of Elizabeth Taylor and now it's hopelessly too late...RIP Elizabeth. :(

  • @Karsch100 I know and I am so devastated for her death, it's horrible, I can't believe it. I know that she was old, but she was so great that just the fact that she's not around anymore is such a tragic loss, even if it was her time. And the inmense outpouring of grive and support from the media and the public at large for her memory I think proves my point, people are devastated, they reacted as if she had died at 30, it's such an awful loss.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta I know exactly how you feel. I used to fear the day when she'd die and then when it happened it felt surreal. I have been so sad the whole week and I never even met her. I wish I had though as she seemed like such an amazing woman. Not just a brilliant actress but also a compassionate, strong, funny inspiring, loving human being...the world is a less bright place without her. :(

  • @Karsch100 Absolutely. I agree completely.

  • omg I am really so moved by that song, I think it captures what a screen star is, I mean when someone like Elizabeth Taylor, or the fictional Norma Desmond, Gloria Swanson, Marilyn Monroe, or anyone like that comes along, it's almost like a privilege to witness the magic they can bring into the world, and for them it's often such a torturous experience, but my god it is so great, and for the audience!! it's such a treat, so intense the experience of the magic they can bring.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta Thank you so much for watching my video. :) I agree with you. Elizabeth Taylor personifies what a screen actress is. Everything she did on the screen was pure magic. Her charisma could make even mediocre movies interesting to watch. I am glad that you enjoyed this video so much. :)

  • @Karsch100 thank you for making, it really moved me, I even cried, it's so beautiful.

  • That song is truly beautiful, very beautiful, great melody, and it's HEARTBREAKING, but I must say, is a musical for Sunset Boulevard necessary? The movie is already such a masterpiece, such brilliance!

  • @LaSerpentaCanta I think the musical for Sunset Boulevard was made before the movie... ;)

  • @Karsch100 no, the movie was first I'm sure =) but I actually take it back because that song is amazing.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta you are right though, I just did some research and the movie was from 1950 and the musical didn't premiere until in 1994... ;)

  • ALL MY FAVOURITES!! Thank you - loved it

  • @k8nairne you're welcome I am glad that you loved it. I think Elizabeth's movies from the 1960s and 1970s rocked. She really could do any part and her talent was always there and she managed to captivate the audience...

  • Beautiful Video Karin, I loved it.. Thanks for sharing.

    Jessie
