I need to know if the NS7 crossfader is midi. (ie: the dj application shows the position and movements of the crossfader on the screen) I bought a MixDeck because the salesperson told me that it WAS a midi crossfader, but it turns out that was wrong.
I have SEATO itch running on my computer with no dj set. I use an AMD processor but Sheraton runs perfectly and traktor scratch pro 2 is able to be used on my computer, but if I can't then forget this thing I'll just get a s4.
I have a mixtrake and i was wondering if i could add the v7 and controll the mixtrack aswell as the v7 through virtualdj without a mixer. Would i need a mixer? and if so would i have to plug my non pro mixtrack into the v7?
im new at djing and i was wondering if its ok to dj with modern music. like the songs you hear on the radio. cause i use those songs but i havent seen any dj on youtube use them like me
i bought the ns6 when it first came out, and now that i'm making money, i'd like to switch to a full deck. i might be misunderstanding this video, but is using 2 v7's require 2 laptops?
I have even used the DXMPro in some of my youtube videos. Now I no longer have a working mixer. I use a Pioneer DJM-700 now but would like my old mixer serviced it used to be in working order. Last time I hooked it up the level meters went to full blast and blew the clubs speakers?? Nothing was ever spilt on the unit. Could it be the cable?
Great unit however I have the exact same mixer he is using in the video the DMXPro. Except mine does not operate I get nothing but a buzzing sound out of the channels. I have examined this unit and took it apart nothing seems to be internally wrong with it. Could it be my power cable is bad? Who should I contact? It used to work fine.
@iNiCY33 yeah, but when I'll change controller, in this way I can keep the IO and avoid to spend a lot for a controller with integrated IO... thanks for the advice anyways!
Why on earth can someone not come up with hardware with large 500gb hard drive with all your MP3's and USB port for more songs, and touch screen built in, I am sick of carting the laptop everywhere for everything & looking at a screen, same with maschine By Native Instruments, I'd buy one today if it did not require a computer to work, but again you need the PC or laptop why...?
how come the button lights up bluey but my v7 the buttons light up white...if noticed there's a few v7's with blue buttons when they light up and white ones
Hi i have bought 2 of your V7's and an X5 mixer, your product is great but the software itch is whats making me want to return them, nothing but problems, midi dropouts freezing etc. if the software that is being used with the controllers isnt working, whats the point of purchasing it.
@jamie291284 what type of computer do you. I've had my v7s for months and never really had a problem with them. You might want to set your buffer at 5.
The v7 is sick : ) I have the mixtrack 1st version but the jog wheels are not smooth.I want 1 v7 for now eventually ill have 2 for the classic DJ set up
Can you pitchbend by braking or nudging the vinyl like on a TT? I tried this in the shop today, but it just stopped the platter altogether. I wonder if maybe they had it tightened down so tight that the record didn't slip on the mat? Or is it supposed to be like that?
@fluchiano well an ns7 has a built in mixer, and overall is cheaper in general than 2 v7's. however v7's include the nsfx in them, and they are slightly redesigned. and u can use any mixer u want with them, along with being able to run two decks on one unit; so i t really depends on what ur looking for.
@kliao93 the vastax fx box is abit better than the numark one as it has more parameter options, and since both work with the NS7, its easier to get the vastax box if you want the ns7 set up.
@kliao93 i already have an NS7, and if i had the money i would just plug a single V7 into the aux port on the NS7 running off a second laptop, for triple decking :P
@thdt4114 the denon DNS3700 (im guessing you mean) is quite abit more (about £200 more), the closest in price is the stanton SCS1D, but it doesn't have as many controls and is slightly more expensive from my regular store - although it does have a motorised pitch fade, but that is more for when you just have 1, rather than 2.

What a great system and I don't even have it. I have 2 Pioneer CDJ 800mk2 with a Gemini mixer in my coffin. This thing will really give Pioneer a run for their money! Great job Numark and keep the prices down LOW!
True, but least you wouldn't be limited to only the mixer on the NS7. Especially for those who have different preferences and rather use their own mixer. thhe mixdeck doesnt have motorized platters, no vinyl feel, just everything is very different. its hard to compare, go on their site, and the specs are just so damn different.
well im searching everywhere for more details, but they havent given much about it, even on their site since its brand new.
but does anyone know if u can choose between 0, 35, and 45 rpm? argh, i wanna get more specs, looking to purchase this, or ns7, or the new universal mixdeck.
All You Need is (1) to begin with until you can afford the other. I'm glad they added the Efx finally. Hopefully they are similar to the CDN-88-90-95 series. The price will remain similar to the Denon 3700 for some months. If you buy from the dealer then you get the dealer MARK UP. Be creative & shop around. The only thing missing now is a slot load cd drive. I bet that is next. GREAT JOB NUMARK!! I've used your products for 10 + years without a warranty claim or a quality issue!! Greg.
i love how intuitive numark has become! i was always a fan of numark even though my other friends told me their stuff is crap. whatever! im still on some noob 9axis cdjs and they get the job done! lol when i showed my friends how much new and awesome stuff numark is comming out with they are now second guessing numark.
Dope product. On-board FX w/Itch Software?!?! Numark is on steroids right now with this thing! Now if the price is less than the Denon DNS3700, these things will be flying off the shelves. Numark's pricing has always been reasonable for the average bedroom DJ (don't stop now). I think they just took a little wind off of Pioneers' sails too with their CDJ's. Now only if platter was 9".... otherwise, great product.
the mixer on the vid is a DXM Pro Mixer. the numark ns7 is around $1300, numark nsfx $300, total of $1500. this setup here shown is little under $2000. i just dont understand why they kept the small platter? why not kick it up to a 10''?
