  • The Dead tune was Touch of Grey , started playing it live 81/82 hit the airwaves 1987. I came out of a coma in 82 and a few months after my escape from the hospital my folks dropped me off at a show still with my steel head brace on and they played it. I remember asking what tune it was and was informed.-I remember waking up in a hospital bed with a cassette deck next to my head a bootleg tape in and the Dead singing Peggy-O with the sun streaming through the windows thinking I was in heaven. I

  • Such a nice movie!!!Lovely story!!!

  • If you are a man, no matter what kind of relationship you may have with your father; the ending sequence will just tear your heart out! WARNING: do NOT watch this one with the guys!

  • If this movie had a wider release 1:51 would put in J.K Simmons in the running for possible Oscar nominees.

  • Why J.K. Simmons doesn't get more lead roles is beyond me.

  • this was so beautiful! man i cried!! one of my favorite movies no doubt. watch it you wont regret it.

  • one of the best movies i've ever seen........this prooves that there are still real movies out there that touch the heart

  • @jordandaem My brother's raving about it to everybody on FB, too. I'm in Japan and have absolutely no idea what's going on in American pop culture these days. I look forward to seeing this in about a year when(if) it finally makes it over here dubbed in Japanese! lol

  • i thought i wouldnt cry the whole film but at the end...i just had to.

  • best fucking movie

  • Lou Taylor Pucci. <3

  • This movie was Amazing, some bits funny too, but the soundtrack was perfect! good old bands from back in the day. Gotta love it

  • This looks shit

  • @m301296 That's because you're like 15 years old and don't know shit! Grow up, and you'll see!

  • Lately i've seen a lot of great movies along the heartstring line. This movie is possibly the best movie about the power of love that i shall ever see. Every character is beautiful.

  • @LiveAndSmokin Agreed; you know if it was made by a big budget director, he would had made the father's character into an abusive alcoholic, lol! But he is like most fathers where he is misunderstood by his son's generation, and wants him/ them to be like he wants; but is still a good man that loves his son. All the characters are such good people that make life worth living; and I absolutely lost it emotionally at the funeral ending. Rarely has any move done that, but this did!

  • @TacosANinja Men with good hearts cry. What has been taught about that, and so many other things, is bullshit. Amazing movie. I balled my eyes out too (I'm a woman - lol). I think music DOES have that deep type of affect on us; the 70's and 80's RULED!

  • @chadwmax The song is called "Summer Song" by a new band called The Tulips, I think they had been asked to record a 60's sounding summer hit for the movie. Vocalist for Tulips is Chrissy Amphlett, former lead singer of Australian Rock band Divinyls.

  • @BoysInTown why cant i find it on youtube-Summer song ? I want to hear it :/ ..its great!

  • @zuco1605 Yeah there is not a youtube clip of it I am afraid, you can buy the track from itunes as it is on the soundtrack

  • With its widest release at 33 screens and a total box office to date of $233,000, this fits into the rare category of "one of the best films that hardly anyone will ever see. It's poingant and funny, and the story is fantastic. JK Simmons is amazing!

  • Love this film. Check out a cool interview with lead actor Lou Taylor Pucci in FILLER Magazine.
