  • ...VERY LOOOONG!!

  • I think even this intro is so funny

  • great show

  • 0:20 / 0:21 I used to think this was a reference to that famous picture of Hitler circled out in the crowd.

  • at the end were is very long

  • The BBC should do a NEW SERIES with the SAME CAST.. They could call it THE OLD ONES... It would be interesting to see how these CHARACTERS AGED... Maybe the PUNK looking one could NOW BE A MEMBER OF THE BRITISH CONSERVATIVE PARTY..

  • @traveleasterneurope That... is... THE MOST BRILLIANT IDEA I'VE HEARD THIS YEAR!!! if they're all still alive anyway, but still, it'd be awesome

  • @milansep of course they are all alive! it was only made in the 80s!

  • @traveleasterneurope NO ,that would not work maybe the name but the idea of the conservitive party is shocking. however .it would be good to see the characters all wake up in hospital to discover that they have aged .that they have been in a coma since the bus crash in the holiday episode .so basically they aged after the explosion and have missed out on most of their lifes.the seires could be about them experiencing what the new world is like .even a joke about the new goverment and riks views

  • luv dis programe

  • 0:20 i <3 rik and his insanity XD

  • shouldn't be afraid

  • vivian is so funny

  • 0:22 lol

  • THIS IS IT!!

  • I was a religious fanatic of the Young Ones, every Sunday night on MTV.The bands were killer too!

  • @Htos1 totally... Madness FTW! They were so awesome when they appeared every now and then on the show. Like, just randomly on the street half the time ;P

  • The Young Ones Remind Me Of The Imbertweeners :L

  • Only alot better than The Inbetweeners

  • @KrazyKarrots uh...yeah : )

  • @KrazyKarrots FUCK THE INBETWEENERS!

  • @BlackCandyFloss Yeah the inbetweeners is kinda like the modern day equivalent of the young ones! There both hilarious! :D

  • i love playing the young ones drinking game XD

  • brilliant comedy

  • so is that rik, mike, niel and vyvyan singing the theme song?

  • yeah its them

    =]

  • oh that is so cool

  • "The theme song" is actually a song of the same title called "The Young Ones", and it was made by Cliff Richard and the Shadows in around 1961. Apparently, Rik Mayall (at least in the programme) was a big fan of Cliff Richard, and it's probably why they used his song as their theme.

  • I'm pretty sure Rik is a big fan of Cliff Richard that's what he said in his book anyways

  • He Actually is a Really Big Fan of Cliff.

He Goes With Him on Tours Sometimes

  • ohh thats neat to know

  • Here are the lyrics:

    "Once in every lifetime,

    comes a love like this,

Oh, I need you, you need me,

Oh my darling, can't you see?

Young Ones, Darling we're the Young Ones,

The Young Ones, (Rick) Shouldn't be afraid,

To live, love, there's a song to be sung,

'Cause we may not, be the Young ones, very looong!"
