Compounding the problem was the president's choice to bailout the lenders rather than the borrowers... I have 2 kids and me and my wife totally agree with you. We have to raise taxes or WE WILL NEVER GET OUT OF DEBT!!!
And no, I'm not looking forward to those very high taxes but it has to happen or the debt will keep going up.
While we're at it, can we please end the war's we're in??? That's getting us in debt even further with no end in sight.
