5 years ago I also loved it, when games in general kept me playing for a looong time. cause at that time I had the time to play games but not the money to buy all the ones I wanted and didnt use ebay (=good games for 5$). nowadays I can buy a lot games through ebay but dont have the time to play all of them. but I will complete MG2 for sure, its a very fun game and yes there is motivation, there always is in mario. except sunshine, liked the game but never got all shines

@WuschelofDespair I would have liked Sunshine more if Mario was not on cleaning duty...as far as Galaxy goes, I enjoyed it, thinking it a little more challenging than 64, but MG2 surpasses that one. Unlike the first one, I actually want to go the extra mile because I know I will be rewarded for my efforts. Getting the first 120 stars was a lot of fun (even though I have probably died four or five times the amount I died in the first game by now), and I think I will enjoy the challenge of going-

im sure I will. guess I've hated every mario game ever since xD but still I love challenge. dunno if honeyhop galaxy is the one in world 2, with 2D view. that one I found rather easy so I guess u mean another. im still in world 3 but have gotton all stars so far. im always completing the galaxies before moving on (if possible).

@WuschelofDespair honeyhop is in world 4 I believe...the Chimp will show up there after inviting you for a challenge, though I can't say when this will occur. As you progress through the game, it will become more difficult to complete each world before moving on to the next...even if you get Comet Medals and Stars, certain comets (and Chimp challenges) will not appear either until you have a certain number of stars or a mission in another galaxy completed. You want challenge?

@WuschelofDespair Nintendo does not disappoint. The Chimp's various challenges coupled with the worlds ahead should be sufficient to test your love of challenge, especially since you're planning on getting 100%. Again, bonne chance, mon ami. As the Chimp says, "You'll need it."

thats what I asked myself for teh first part. everybody thouht it was sooo awesome. it was a good game yes, but not tht great. way to easy (boring as u mentioned), crappy camera, sometimes bad controls. but part 2 is way better

well im playing a lot of games right now, so im not playing MG2 through without pausing. I have about 40 stars so far and I had some challenges (did already about 10 comet missions which were the most challenge). and I love the cloud suit^^ as for SMG 1 it began to be fun at like 40 stars because before there was no challenge u know. so I really like SMG2. its an awesome game. part 1 does not deserve the high ratings that it got.

Oh, and comet stars are SO HARD, I hated the one (I still haven't beten it) where have to beat the drill with only 1 life. OH, and I never played the original.
